My friends and I gave this ramen a solid 7/10! We could tell it was a rapid service and the flavors weren’t as strong in our broth. We loved the atmosphere, the service and the moche dessert ice cream. Wow! We’ll definitely be back.

I’m a filthy weaboo, so I had mixed feelings about moving to south dakota. Not that I dont like the state, I love it, but thinking of SD doesnt exactly conjure images of delicious japanese food in my mind. And yet, two months prior to writing this review, a new hope had dawned.

Sasuke is my favorite Ramen place in Rapid. That atmosphere is amazing and something I expect in a bigger town. If you’re a Naruto fan, you will die happy here. The food is amazing. The Tonkatsu Garlic Ramen is my favorite but really all of the food is good. The Pork Buns, I could eat a whole plate of them just as a meal. The service is good too. The staff always try to their best even when slammed busy. My go to place.

Be prepared to wait, be kind & graceful. They’re fairly new. I’ve never had ramen, first timer here lol!! It was different but it was pretty yummy!! Loved the theme. Cute lil place.

Absolutely love the decor and the music they played was awesome! The service was great and so was the food. It was kind of loud but totally worth it! I’m so happy to have a Naruto themed restaurant near me!

I came here expecting it to be a place where you pay for the experience and not the food, but I was mistaken! I ordered the tonkatsudon and it was quite delicious for about 15 dollars. The entire bowl was delicious and I’d definitely order it again.

Ok, first impressions of this place. Let’s start off with the ambience. that is heavily inspired by the anime show Naruto. There are murals, and statues of these figures around the place with the anime music also playing in the background. Nice touches since the name of the place is named after a main character in the show. The have Japanese lanterns hanging in from the ceiling and has adequate nice lighting. The seating is where we start to nick pick a bit here. If you choose a booth along the side of the place your fine. It works quite nicely, however if you get a table that is floating in the middle of the restaurant, not so much fun. The tables are really close together, so much so, that your almost rubbing shoulders with the person behind you. So, if you’re a bigger person, like me who is 6’5″ your cramped into this little table and no leg space. I recommend getting a booth! The staff is very courteous and polite, with being friendly that doesn’t come off as fake. I appreciate that much. Now the menu! The food is quite good and tasty! From the Pork Gyoza appetizer to the Salmon and Terriyaki Chicken Bento Boxes, to the Tonkotsu Rich Garlic Ramen were all really well done and tasty! However, the bento box’s salad and shumai were a little underwhelming. The rice was fantastic, rich and heavy really helped the box out! The ramen definitely had garlic in it because you could taste it quite a bit but that is a minor annoyance. The food is authentic enough for around these parts, but the place is trying to be a more of a hybrid between traditional ramen place where they spend hours just making the broth, and fast food to get it out to you fast enough so they can get more customers. This place is really good, but not the best. The prices were all fair and pretty much dead on for what you get in return. Overall, this place is a really great addition to Rapid City! If you are new to any type of Japanese Ramen style foods, this place is a great introduction into that! Just make sure you have the seaweed removed from your bowls if you don’t like your meal to taste too fishy or like the ocean.

My family loves this place!! I grew up in California and this place reminds me of home. My husband loved his Raman bowel and the eel appetizer he’d ordered. My mom loved her chicken teriyaki bento box. I had the Chicken Katsu and it was so fresh! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Really cute anime theme. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Asian food or Raman.

This place is a fever dream for anyone who has watched Naruto idk what all of the one star reviews are talking about – we had great service and great food! Our ramen was actually spicy and the broth had flavor…much better than other ramen houses on town! Probably the best in town. We’ll happily frequent this ramen house.
