Salad was really good. Portions are good too. Meats and rice could use more flavor, more lock and sauce would add variety and kick to it. White sauce was good flavor but was watered down feeling too much. Bread pits was fine. Overall good needs some upgrades to be great.

This Saturday afternoon I had the pleasure of trying the Chicken Shawarma Platter from Sasun’s Cafe, paired with a Freez Mix berry drink. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, while all of the vegetables tasted fresh. Both the hummus and garlic sauce were incredible and I even took some of it to go to eat later. This is a great restaurant for someone to try and the customer service is excellent. Will be back in the future!

The service at Sasuns is always warm and caring. Thank you Vatche for always being so welcoming and going the extra mile to ensure clients get a great meal. This is a great restaurant for take out, but you can also eat indoors or outside on the deck. A personal favorite is the chicken shawarma; tasty, nicely seasoned with delicate spices, wrapped in a very thin warm flat bread. Exactly how it should be made and truly delicious. The hummus, falafel, and kibbeh are magnificent. The greek salad is always freshly made and quite generous. You can top it with chicken, gyro meat, or falafel. If you love meat, try the Whole Beef Kebab and savor the seasoning and quality of the filet. Vatche, the gentle owner, continues to surprise us with his delicious cuisine. We keep going back weekly. This cozy little restaurant is a hidden gem in Redland. Stop by – you’ll be happy you did. On Tuesdays chicken shawarmas are on special and on Thursday, the special is Gyro. Venture out a little and try the Falafel Sandwich. It won’t disappoint. It is crispy, nicely seasoned, and you can add yogurt sauce or tahini. There are also burgers, fries, and pizza on the menu. Parking is plentiful and located behind the restaurant.

Wow! Just so delicious! I stopped by Samsun’s for a gyro a few weeks ago and it was a solid balance of flavors within really tasty tzatziki. I ordered a second time to try a few more menu items and am blown away. Seriously wow! The chicken shawarma is amazing! My picky eater child was also very happy with the Sasun’s kebab. Can’t wait to try more items!

I’ve been wanting to check out Sasuns Cafe for awhile. Near the intersection of Redland and Muncaster Mill, they’re easy to get to with plenty of parking behind the restaurant and their own patio for outdoor seating.

We went for lunch on a Friday. We were greeted right away and handed a menu. We ended waiting what seemed like a long time for our food, but it was well worth the wait. They have specials on Tuesday and Thursday that makes it worth returning.
