My son wanted pizza. So I searched and I found this restaurant a short walk from our river front hotel. He is used to your typical pizza place and I wasn’t hoping he would like this place. Now it is small so seating is limited but that adds charm to the place. But even though there were people waiting the waitress never rushed us. There are also a few outside tables. My son ordered a bacon pizza and fries covered in mozzarella and bacon. They were both so good. My son so enjoyed his meal. He kept saying how delicious everything was. We will definitely return when in the area.

It has been awhile since I have been to a wood burning pizzeria that was worth the time to talk about it. This place is great, relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff, and really good pizza. I kept it simple with pepperoni, salami, and bacon. The ingredients are great quality, the crust was crispy and smoky, the sauce is a balance of flavors and spice, just the right amount of cheese to not take over and evenly proportioned mix of meats. I will definitely be back again before I leave in a couple of weeks.

This was my first time..the wait staff was excellent and the food was over the top good…gotta try the nachos..the beer batter cheese is awesome..and of course we had to try the wood oven pizza…my daughter gave it a 11 out of 1 to 10…so that says it all…great food..great service..hard to find all that in one place..thanks guys

It’s hard to put into words how amazing our experience was here. We came into town for a funeral and needed a quick, easy place to eat after a long day of driving with our two year old. Gavin was amazing and took excellent care of us. The food was absolutely delicious. And every single employee plus some of the regulars went out of their way to interact with and be extra kind to our exhausted toddler. We’ll always come back here if we’re in New Bern again. Exceptional experience all the way around.

First time here tonight and though they didn’t seem busy, the wait staff was hustling, which made any delays more than acceptable. (Including the ice machine broken, stuff happens) On to the best part… The Stromboli! This isn’t a sauceless pizza folded in half like other joints. It’s an animal of their own making and it is spectacular. Sliced sausage, not the crumbly kind, plenty of cheese, and a crust that flakes nicely. Sauce on the side and seasoned super well. Well done guys n gals. We’ll be coming back. Cheers

This pizza is the real deal. Thin but soft and flavorful crust, fresh and tangy sauce, and great toppings. We had a Margarita and an Hawaiian. The mozzarella on the Margarita is legit. Our server, Grace, was friendly and on top of things. We were here on a Saturday night during prime dinner hours and they took good care of us. Finally found a pizza place worth coming back to.

Hey Savages Pizza! You are the best! Me and my friend went there last week Monday for the first time. I moved here to NC and have heard a lot of good about this place! Did not disappoint! Grace I think was her name was our server and she was very genuinely nice and very helpful! The other girl that was working up front with her was just as kind and friendly!! Loved it! We got the margarita pizza and it was superb!! Definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere and food! Can’t beat!!!

If you are looking for Italian style pizza, this is the place. Everything is delicious. Pizza baked the way it should be. Caprese was different and delicious. Service was good. Price could have been cheaper (Pizza is poor man’s food) but no higher than anyplace else.
