Ok, I hate to do this because that old lady there makes you feel right at home and is such a wonderful lady she deserves her flowers . With that being said. I came for the fried tomatoes they were out, and thats ok, so I got fried, okra. I just don’t understand the sauce that comes with it, so I used hot sauce . I got the crab thing with 2 sides black eye peas and potatoes and gravy, which they forgot the gravy. the black eye peas were salty, and the crab thing was to soft . The pound cake was amazing, and the Kool-Aid was amazing

The Gumbo has a depth I haven’t had since leaving Louisiana! Fried Green Tomatoes were perfection! The BEST cheesy grits and macaroni and cheese I’ve ever had! Everything we ordered was delivered hot and correctly. I can not wait to eat here again!

Great food! Our family tried the chicken dinner, fish dinner, and shrimp and grits. All were very well done. The mac and cheese and greens are great. My mom loved the shrimp and grits. What a great addition to the Glenwood Avenue corridor. I recommend trying the mac and cheese and greens as your sides. Check it out!

It was horrible I paid 48 dollars for a Haddock dinner and a Pork chop dinner and it wasn’t good at all the sides was nasty to Mac n cheese and the greens was salty the yams wasn’t sweet enough the corn bread was alright but naw I can’t do it again I really want my money back

Although I didn’t have the greatest experience with the quality of food, I plan to give it another try as they are fairly new. I was quoted a 15 minute wait time that turned into 30 which wasn’t a big deal. However, when I received my take out ..1 dinner was luke warm ( strips and fries) andwas pretty decent. The fried fish was soggy so I didn’t get to actually eat it and only 1 of my two sides were hot. Also, take note the green beans are quite salty but were really good. The corn bread was great with absolutely no complaints there and the staff was friendly. The taste of the food in the order i placed wasn’t nasty at all, there are just a few adjustments that need to be implemented.
