So good! We’ve eaten here a few times over the past few years and it has been great every time! The most recent time was on a Saturday night and there was a wait, but the line moved quickly. We had the low country boil, shrimp tacos, and fried shrimp with a side of hush puppies. Highly recommend everything! The low country boil has good seasoning (We are from SC and all thought this one was good!). The shrimp tacos have a delicious sauce and came with 4 shrimps on each taco. The fried shrimp was good and not greasy and the hush puppies are 10/10! We also tried the Praline Amber beer and you should definitely try it! Definitely add this to your list to eat at in Savannah!

We are in a Savannah for a week and this was one our favorite spots. The person working the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. This is the best low country boil around . There is a garlicky sauce inside that puts this place to the top. Each bite of the corn was mouth watering. We also had a shrimp cone and that was amazing as well. Small shrimp perfectly fried. We chose to eat the shrimp with a fork and use the Cajun sauce from the cone as a condiment. I’m not sure if anyone actually eats this like a cone, it’s a little too big but probably possible. I wasn’t a huge fan of how purchasing beer works. I was mid meal with sloppy hands and needed another can of suds to keep me hydrated. I had to grab a can out of the case and pay for it before I could sit back down and finish the food. It’s not a big deal but something small that could improve the experience. Love this place!!!

The pros-the food was perfectly prepared in a clean environment with cheerful staff. The cons? I am fairly sure the flavorless seafood used here is 100% imported from overseas. Lets break it down-the fish they use is Swai, Vietnamese river catfish. These are very light, mild fish that are farmed in pens full of silt, river runoff and pesticides. They are considered the worlds least healthy fish and have very little flavor or redeeming texture. The medium size shrimp were obviously farmed also with very little shrimp flavor and no color or character at all-nothing like a true SC/GA coastal shrimp. The clam strips, calamari both were unremarkable and the scallops were cut. The scallops had decent flavor, but overall everything reminded me of the generic seafood found in a Thai or Chinese restaurant, just fried very well in a pleasing batter. The french fries and hush puppies were great, FYI. I would make a strong bet none of the seafood they use is locally sourced. The owner of this establishment owns a bunch of Asian themed restaurants around town so I am sure there is some cross pollination of ingredients. Anyway, maybe I expect to eat local seafood when I travel to one of the world’s best seafood destinations?

The good: The low country boil is a phenomenal deal for what you get. Really nice portion and delicious. We also got a side of fries (above average) and hush puppies (also above average, with full corn kernels inside of it which I loved)

This place has really good reviews the reason why I wanted to try it out. For me when entering the place it’s not what I expected. It seems cafeteria feel and the food doesn’t reflect the establishment in my opinion. You’re seated once you enter the establishment yet you have to go up to the register to order your food and they will serve you your food to your table. I ordered the steam clams which I felt like should have came in the bag my items came in the basket! Like I ordered steamed clams why is my items in a basket!? Due to that I will not be coming back here. Plus I feel like they need a makeover. The other people within my party had to fry seafood scones one was fried shrimp in the other was fried oysters which were really good and Fried calamari.

Upon walking in, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The atmosphere was a bit underwhelming, but I decided to look past it. We ordered the shrimp cone, a snow crab cluster with corn and a shrimp and crab boil. Everything was DELICIOUS. The crab had a sweetness that was either due to the butter or the crab itself. The corn was yummy and the shrimp was perfectly fried in the cone. The sauce also complimented everything so well. Happy we ate here. I also ordered clam chowder, but, I’d skip that it.

Loved this little spot! I was actually surprised at the size of the location, but it was definitely a must while in Savannah. We were here on Memorial Day weekend, and although there was a wait, it was only about 15 minutes. Once inside, the place was pretty packed! We ordered our food at the counter and it was brought out to our table afterwards. The food itself was pretty good. I’m from Colorado, so I really enjoyed the freshness of the food. I ordered a seafood boil with snow crab and shrimp and corn and potatoes. The seasoning and flavoring was good, I just wish they put a little bit more seasoning on it. My husband ordered a catfish poboy and really liked it. The hushpuppies on the side were okay, he’s from Louisiana and is used to their version of hush puppies. This seemed to be a low county thing with the corn hush puppies. We also had the bite sized crab cakes, and those were delicious! Highly recommend those. We spent about an hour here and left at about 7 pm, as we were leaving the place had definitely gotten a lot busier. This was probably one of my favorite seafood places while in Savannah.

The food was fantastic! We are seafood lovers, and this place did not disappoint. My husband had the low country boil with shrimp & sausage. I had the seafood boil with crab legs, shrimp, mussels, craw fish, and clams. The seasoning in both was outstanding. Be sure to dip your corn in the sauce at the bottom before each bite! You will thank me later. Great find after walking around historic Savannah! But this place on your must eat list. Dining is casual, and we asked for bibs so we could eat the food like it should be eaten. The service was great.

Their menu is very affordable especially for the seafood options. I ordered the shrimp Po Boy which was well portioned. The hush puppy side was interesting and although im glad i got to try it, I’d opt for a different side. The crab bites were very tasty and I’d recommend them.
