I’ve been craving Cassava leaf extremely bad so I decided to try this restaurant out. The young lady who took my order over the phone and also helped me in person was very kind. Unfortunately, the cassava leaf meal with white rice that I had ordered was not the greatest… my meat and the cassava leaf were tough as if it had not been cooked long enough. It was very flavorful but the toughness messed up the whole meal for me as it was very difficult to even chew. It smelled very good and I would still recommend this restaurant, just not at opening time.

Came from out of State, a buddy of mine told me about this spot, seems to be nice.When I got there I put in my order everything was ok, until I order my drinks and tell her to hold the drinks until the food is ready. After 15 minutes I can’t see nobody, sat down for another hour.And Steel nobody, decided to go to the front desk suit up for 30 minutes finally got to talk to somebody behind the bar and told the lady that I need somebody to help me please . And came with a attitude and said how can I help you??? I told her and she took the drink and threw it at me. That was the worst night I have had to a Restaurant. I didn’t do anything I left a drink and walk out.

I ordered okra soup, collard greens, dibi lamb and sticky rice!!! It was AMAZING LIKE unreal good!!! I’m litterally upset that I’ve went this long not having OKRA SOUP FROM HERE!! BEST IN THE CITY HANDS DOWN!! Food was fresh hot and DELICIOUS !!my 14 year old son almost ate the lamb bones lol collard greens had a lot of meat it was sooooooo good!! That OKRA SOUP BABY!! Unbelievably good!! I also want to thank the friendly people who work there! Very polite and just all around positive vibes!! Great people GREAT FOOD LIKE THE BEST!!! Highly recommend you go there it’s worth every penny and some!! They need to add some stars on here for y’all!!Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

I think they were a little surprised to see a fat old white guy wander in, but everybody was really nice and helpful with the menu. I tried the cassava leaf which is like a stew with chicken and fish served over rice and an order of plantains. The food was really good and I’ll be back to try more. I recommend you try it if you like good food and feel adventurous.
