I thought this place was so cute but they served me uncooked cold chicken. See photo. They did let me return it but I had to go back.

This was my first time going to this local cafe. I had not been able to go there before because they are only open until 2:00 p.m. on most days and closed on Sundays. I decided to give them a try and to support our local businesses. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. It was tasty and fresh, but on the smaller side. However when I finished it I was no longer hungry. You get a side of chips of your choice with any sandwich that you order. The sandwich itself was $9 which I think is very reasonable. I also noticed that they had some large cookies. I bought some chocolate chip cookies but they also had oatmeal raisin and sugar. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very happily surprised at how soft, fresh, and delicious they were. And they are only $2.50 each! Definitely support this local business. They also serve salads, you can build your own sandwiches, and specialty coffees.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast. Got the bacon, egg and avocado breakfast panini. It was okay, nothing to ride home about. I think there was cream cheese in it but couldn’t quite tell. The egg grossed me out a bit but then again that’s a risk I take ordering eggs since I’m not a huge fan of them to begin with. I have to say their pastries and coffee looked delicious but didn’t get around to trying them.

I was excited to try Savoury when I found out they offer a gluten free sourdough bread bun (that’s also egg free which is great for my egg allergy). Little did I know I would be HOOKED! Their sandwiches are so delicious. Always flavorful, hot, and the fresh baked bread is mouthwatering. My favorite is the egg, bacon, avocado sandwich but every sandwich is delicious. I’m very picky about coffee (particularly iced lattes) and the iced vanilla latte with almond milk that I order is so good every time! Perfect balance of sweetness, espresso, and almond milk. Amazing! Last but certainly not least, I am always greeted with friendly faces and excellent service. This place is our go-to and we will continue to return forever!

Fresh food, quick service majority of the time. Sandwiches always taste very fresh and are pretty sizeable. Often go during my lunch break and I always have plenty of time to enjoy the sandwich since they’re so quick.

I came to support small business but honestly, I won’t be going out of my way to come back. The breakfast sandwich I had was made with microwaved bacon, a microwaved egg, there was barley any cream cheese on the bread & there was no seasoning at all. The overwhelming flavor of egg sulfur is what took over my sandwich.

First time customer. Tried the hot pastrami and it was delicious. The pastrami was super tender and had just the right saltiness. The stone ground brown mustard used in the sandwich is fantastic. The slaw tempers the strong flavors and the ciabatta bread was fresh and soft, a perfect holder for the sandwich ingredients. Five stars for the sandwich. My very minor gripe was that the chips and drinks were rather small – true, no one really needs more than the small, kid-sized bag of chips and 16oz drink cup, but it’s become such a norm for sandwich shops to have larger bags and drink sizes that I was a bit surprised. It’s a really minor gripe. I will be back, however, to try every other sandwich they have, and then dive into creating my own. The ingredients used are top notch and worth coming back again and again.
