My first visit to Saya Sushi, I’ve been driving by for a few years and stopped in after a friend suggested that I try it. The exterior is a little dated. The interior is plain but clean. The service was good enough that I’d return. I had the house salad, the ginger dressing was just okay. I enjoyed the YumYum roll and the devil roll. The devil roll was too big for me, I should’ve asked for a fork and knife. I spent about $25 and it was worth it. I will go again and try different rolls. If you’re looking for quality sushi this is a good choice. If you’re looking for excitement this is not the place.

Dined in for lunch. Was given 3 menus to look over. No price on the special board. Waiter was not friendly. Place was dead. Got some sushi and spring rolls. Food was good but the dollop of wasabi was very small. Place is dingy and in need of a deap clean and updates. Will not return. Sorry.

Unassuming sushi spot on Plymouth Road. Definitely worth stopping by if you find yourself in the Redford/Livonia area. The hospitality is wonderful. The menu is full of options. Veggie tempura was multiple types of veggies fried perfectly. The sushi rolls, while trending towards more American tastes, were quite good.

The white castle baked roll is amazing! The place may look older but the food is flavorful and full of sauce. I live 45 minutes away but the drive was worth it. Very sweet owner who got us a cute little box to help my small 7 month old fit in her high chair. Hope to return soon!

Yummy at the right price. I got the California roll with Udon soup for 12$. The roll was 6 pieces and the soup was fairly large. Went on a whim because I had an appointment nearby. Definitely worth a try!
