We stopped in for drinks on a fine New Years eve. The drinks, service and atmosphere were awesome. It was a great place to sit and enjoy some time together in a nice warm clean establishment. It is a perfect fit in historic New Harmony. It totally met our requirement of a laidback peaceful place to have a drink.

Really impressed. Showed up right before closing (Google says 4pm, but we were there at 2pm and they were getting ready to clean up). The owner was happy to serve us. Soup and sandwiches here- I recommend the reuben. Good prices, great food, super people. Cool local and artisan beverages to try. The building has a lot of history, definitely worth the stop. Cozy bar next door with some interesting brews.

cant believe they remodeled the inside. are they trying to be woke or just fancy like red geranium. absolutely ruined what saras used to be. terrible design. terrible menu. it smells like a morgue in there now. shouldve just let it be and accept what you are. now i have no reason to go to new harmony at all now.

Waitress was nice and very positive atmosphere. Everything is homemade here. They also have board games that you can play as you wait for your food. It was nice seating by the window eating and watching traffic goes by.

Had the plate breakfast and it was very good and a good amount of food especially for the reasonable prices, had many meals that were not nearly as good for double the price. Great shake also

Sara’s was wonderful! The ladies that waited on us were fabulous. We didn’t realize we had gotten there so close to closing. They made us feel unrushed & welcome… even selling us some Gelato after we finally got done eating their scrumptious meal! My daughter & I fell in love with not only Sara’s establishment, but also her friendly staff! The owner, Michelle, went out of her way to take care of us. They deserve 10 stars… not just 5! We will most definitely be back!

One of the best restaurants in New Harmony. Generous portions and the homemade quiche and soup are amazing! The Russian cabbage soup is the best and I even ordered soup to go so I could have some at home!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, and decent prices. Check to see if they stuff going on, as they sometimes have live music and other events available. They have their Harmonies Bier (oldest recipe in Indiana) on tap and a good selection of other drafts and bottled beers, plus a wide wine selection.

My husband and I came to New Harmony when we married several years ago. Sara’s Harmonie Way has great food on one side..sandwiches ice cream ect…the wine bar on the other feels like home. Everyone there was friendly and the decorations are really neat! We met the owner who was so sweet and hospitable! The beer they make there is great and the wine we tried was Frost Bitten. We still have the bottle with flowers on our kitchen table. It is a great place to go sit and relax if in town or staying over night at the inn and has a great little bar area.
