The lounge located in the back of 407 Lincoln Hwy. Rochelle, Il. and is below Acres Bistro. The bar serves a fantastic menu which includes comfort foods along with upscale items. Extensive selection of craft beers, domestic beers, wines, and custom cocktails. Daily events – ladies night, bingo, trivia, live music, karaoke, touch tunes, and much more. Indoor and outdoor seating available and it is family friendly.

Honestly I’m pretty surprised this quality food comes from this small town. My wife and I were just passing through and decided to stop in for a bite. We were both pleasantly surprised on our experience! We got the scale house burger, cuban sandwich and the amazing brussel sprouts for an appetizer! All the food was very good. The brussel sprouts are extremely good! Must try!

Another update: was in the mood for a salad. Had the Cobb and substituted their hot shrimp instead of chicken. It was amazing! Perfect ratio of shrimp and salad. Could probably get two portions out of the salad. Excellent service from Autumn!

Chill environment with excellent food. Wife got the chicken fingers. They had really good coating that was flavorful and not greasy. I got a burger off the bistro menu. Fresh locally sourced beef that was fantastic. There were all kinds of things going on with the burger and the combination was outstanding.

The downstairs business at Acres Bistro, Scalehouse Lounge is equally superb in ambiance, bar offerings and cuisine. The service is great, drinks are great (could do better on the IPA selection, but I’ll let that slide), and the food is spectacular. Scalehouse burger and black and blue burger are spot on burger perfection. House cut fries and “fry sauce” are unbeatable. We love Acres (except for the seats that face a blank wall) and Scalehouse is the perfect compliment. Thank you for bringing this urbanesque gem to Rochelle!
