Pictured is my uncle Danny sub. There was a lot of meatballs very big portion. However, it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. There was not that much ricotta cheese, and the mozz was overflowing so it melted out and kind of got stuck on the paper. I have to try it in person next time when I order. Other than that sub was good.

Amazing family owned deli/ restaurant. The atmosphere is upbeat and cozy. Every time I eat here the food is made quickly and it’s always delicious- Great portions. Luann and Danny (owners) are the sweetest. They have different authentic Italian dishes as well as a wide variety of subs and sandwiches. My favorite spot for a steak and cheese sub or some eggplant with a side of ziti. Never been disappointed.

New Haven is a food destination with some of the best chef’s in America. Chef Danny belongs on that list as one of the best for sure! First of all, everything he cooks is done at an exceptional level. Everything. Take “eggs and squash” two simple ingredients right? One taste and you will ask yourself: how does he take those two ingredients and make it taste so amazing?! The sandwiches, the meatballs, the parmigiana – those staples of Italian fare are next level. What really stands out is that this Chef is so talented and so genuine.
