Can’t believe I didn’t know this place was here before. Will definitely return, it was great. Catfish was really good, most places overcook it but this was still really moist. Collard Greens were just the right amount of subtle smokiness. Chicken wings were also really good. Yams had great spices in them.

Really good food, and good service. Will definitely be back again. I ordered a Porkchop Sandwich for a late lunch and it was delicious. Maybe I will try some wings next time.

The food was very good I orded the turkey wings tender..and 4 piece fried wings, they were will season, how ever I must say they need to get a better cash register system instead of using a calculator..I can slow the business down waiting for them to add up the total, when it can be entered on the register..

Good simple home cooked soul food! Recently moved here from Southern California and been missing all my catfish spots, found this on yelp and boy it did not disappoint, wings and catfish are BOMB, the Mac and cheese is great, and I love how it’s nothing fancy just simple you go there to eat and leave feeling like you just had a home cooked meal. Also great service every time I go the girls always take good care of my table. So sweet and very attentive and you can NOT leave without taking one of their amazing desserts. They’re seriously all good!!!!

Wow!! So glad I found this place! Great soul food for real!…Nice down-home feel, with friendly folks and great overall atmosphere. Fried chicken, catfish, greens, cornbread, red beans and rice and mac n cheese all on point! If you have a craving for some southern taste soul food, make Scends you place to dine!!
