Schiano’s is authentic New York-style pizza. The crust is nice and crispy – it pops when you fold it.

How can this be a 5 star when atmosphere is a 3? I’ll tell it. The food is spectacular! Best pizza I’ve had in North Carolina. I’ve had pizza all around NYC and until Schiano’s I haven’t found anything close. Their pie is spot-on! Got a sausage pie. Too good for words. If you want NY pizza, this is the place for you!

Looking for an authentic jersey slice?! Look no further, locally owned now these jersey guys know how to sling this handmade dough, sauce and pile on those ingredients on a garbage pie! The wings are slammed with sauce are battered, and crispy! Some of the best damned wings I’ve had in Wake County! This place is locally owned, and family ran! John runs this place pretty much alone due to understaffing and rising costs with transportation and products. Think about shopping locally before you give your hard earned money to a big box, it goes further here.

I am originally from NYC but have lived in the RDU area for 33 years. The first thing I do every time I go home to visit family is get a slice of Pizza. Good, NYC pizza is my all-time favorite food, and there is no substitution.

Great people, but unfortunately, we did not like the food. NYC style pozza with a thin, soggy crust with very little cheese. Nothing like the photos on here. Wings were breaded and soggy, probably from pre-made frozen. Pasta was ok but not great. Very high prices for the quality. Cost over $80 for a small 14″ pepperoni pizza, wings, pasta, and a cheesecake. The cheesecake was homemade tasting but not very good. I ordered pizza to go 2 times before, at least 5 years ago, and they were much better. This will be our last visit. Unfortunately we haven’t found any good traditional pizza restaurants in the Wake Forest.

How this is rated above 4, I don’t know. The dough was tough to eat and tasted like it was pre-made somewhere or earlier in the week. The pizza itself had too much grease sitting on top of it. I would not recommend this place and feel like I wasted a good pizza night. Other than that the staff seem to be pretty friendly.

This is the best pizza in Wake Forest. Cook to order – want it well done with a bit more crunch and bubbly cheese? Say so, and they’ll get it right. A friendly family run place that makes every customer feel at home. Their other dishes on the menu are great too.
