This was my first trip to a Schlotzsky’s in a long time. This location is in Southwest Huntsville on Memorial Parkway. The sign is very visible and there is plenty of parking.

I am from Texas visiting a cousin. We were so happy to share a lunch that we both loved. From first sight let alone first bite, I knew this was NOT the original Schlotzkys. The bun was crumbly like it had cornmeal added. It was terrible and not the original sour dough. Only disappointment I had on my visit to Alabama.

This location is perfect for introverted people. Staff showed me it really didn’t matter that I visited. Unfriendly, took my order accurately, 2 sandwiches alone for $30 was a bit excessive. Got home it really wasn’t even good. I guess it will be another 30 years, before I visit again. I didn’t realize how expensive and really not worth the money, this establishment is.

Ordered food tonight through UberEATS and the bread on all the sandwich was not the normal schlotzskys bread. Someone apparently messed us when making it and they still served it anyways. On top of that I ordered large sandwiches and got a small and medium along with no pickle spears or napkins. Quickly was also reminded why I quit using Uber eats. So I had to turn around and reorder dinner from door dash and pay for 2 separate dinners tonight.

Great sandwich shop! The bread is flat and round, so you end up with a better meat to bread ratio. The sourdough is mild not over powering. The bacon cheese was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this spot for a good sandwich.
