My friend always gets the original, but I love their fiesta chicken and have been coming here for 2 decades now! I love the texture of the bread, airy, spongy, & a little chewy. They have jalapeno and spicy bread, which both have a lot of flavor! They always load the meat and toppings. This sandwich has black olives, my favorite, and a spicy tangy sauce. I’ll go out of my way to get this treat and sometimes buy the largest one so I can have it for several meals. They also have several locations in ABQ and one at the sunport airport, so get one before your travels.

Haven’t been a Schlotzsky’s in a long time, food is always really good here they have a Albuquerque turkey sandwich that has turkey and green chili it’s really good. They also have a green chile bread that’s really good. The only bread they have at this store for the large sandwich is sourdough. Schlotzsky’s is a little bit on the expensive side and I think that’s why I don’t go there a lot but it is really good.

Smoked Turkey was slimy, there was 3 times as much bread as meat, and as for mayo, it was probably 1/16 of a teaspoon scraped across one bun. It was like I had ordered a medium sandwich with half the toppings – plus they were slimy. I could not eat more than 3 bites of it. Fed the rest of the meat to my large dog (was afraid it might hurt my small dog) and went to subway drivethru. My adult son, who loves deli sandwiches threw 3/4 of his away and requested that we never return. Pickles were good.

I used to love Schlotzsky’s, so when I moved here I was super excited to know there was one here. Not very impressed about waiting 10 minutes to ask for a box, no one came to the front even after opening the door several times to set off the bell. When I told the guy when he finally came out he said he was at the drive thru. I was watching the drive thru and no one was there and there were two customers in the entire place including myself. Empty restaurant no but somehow no time to clean up at 5pm on a Saturday? No wonder there’s no one here.

Good food but the owner really needs to step up to maintain the facility. It is literally falling apart. Booths are ripped and not maintained, ceiling looks moldy and dirty, lights are falling out of the ceiling and missing covers, things are missing from the walls and the paint is chipping. Poor ownership practices.
