Stopped for lunch. Ordered the two meat plate. Portion size was generous at a reasonable price. Brisket wasn’t as wet as I like, but had good smoke flavor. The ribs were on the tough side, but well seasoned. Sides were flavorful. Topped off lunch with a few ice cream cone. Highly recommend!

The lean brisket was simple and straight forward. The baked potato casserole was a big miss, having both an odd texture and odd taste. The potato salad (not shown) was traditional and falls in line. I requested “just a taste” and was given a good sized portion. Thanks! The baked beans are tasty and seem unadorned straight from a can possibly labeled “Bush’s”. Last, the regular BBQ sauce on the table was sweet and a bit odd, somewhat reminiscent of the duck sauce at a Chinese restaurant while the spicy BBQ sauce hit the mark.

Worst BBQ I’ve ever ate. The ribs were mostly fat and tough with bland flavor. The “potatoes” were not edible and tasted as if they had been reheated about 5 or more times already as well ad the Mac N Cheese. None of the food had any real flavor extremely bland and reheated way too many times. $35 meal will be dog food. Very very disappointing

This is a hidden gem in Paris. We got the sampler with brisket, smoked sausage, pulled pork and ribs. It was worth it just for the brisket! The sides were pretty great too. I’ll come here from now on every time I come to visit my dad

This is a Paris gem. I never make reviews but I had to show them love. The sides were phenomenal, the meat was seasoned well and tender, the sauce options provided good accompaniment for the flavor of the meat and the desserts were great too. Cool atmosphere, especially the condiment cow!! Freakin awesome stuff, and the service was great. Mary is a sweetheart!!

Shared a 3 meat plate with my spouse we had pulled pork, smoked Turkey, and brisket all the meats were fresh and moist. Their condiment cow was entertaining. Everyone was polite.

Chopped beef sandwich, white cheddar Mac & cheese, Pinto beans, and Pork-n-beans were all delicious! Parking fills up quick at noon on a weekday, plenty of parking by 2pm. Self-serve BBQ sauce. Self-self ice cream cones. Price isn’t cheap, but the food is worth it!

Update: this place has dramatically improved over the past couple years. It’s always been good, but now it’s great! I ordered sliced brisket, Mexican corn, and Mac and cheese. All of it tasted like it just came straight of of flavor town! If you’re in the Paris area, and you enjoy good brisket; you should give School Bros a chance.

I might eat here again but I won’t try anything I ate tonight a second time. I ordered the Rib Platter. The ribs where largely disappointing. For the price I expected more. Both in quality and quantity. It was more chewy than I would have liked and aside from the sauce didn’t have a notable taste.

If you’re going for the pig shots save your gas bc they’re always sold out, even at noon. If they offer you the twinkies instead save you money.
