This is one of my go-to places for a nice dinner out locally. I live just down the road in Harpswell and this restaurant is a godsend because there aren’t too many restaurants like this around in this area. I love being able to just drive less than 10 minutes down the road. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. There is a killer selection of local craft beer on tap. And the Bourbon drinks and other cocktails are always made perfectly. The meal pictured here was from Brunch last Sunday. My partner and I both got the Lamb Hash with eggs over easy with petite greens. So delicious.

We stopped in here for lunch. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the curry hot sauce and mango cole slaw. I didn’t love it but the ambiance and the service made up for it. I would come back to try the full menu at dinner time.

We had a great experience, the website does recommend reservations but we we’re lucky to find an open table. We did call ahead of time to make sure we could get in. Service was great, they were very accommodating for our toddler. Food was good, a bit pricey (we think) but overall we had a great experience. The best mashed potatoes we’ve ever had, may seem not important but it was the star of the night, we would go back just for that! Seems like they change the menu so would be good to try at different times of the year. And, definitely worth trying!!!

Very cute little spot but a very limited menu. Make sure to call before hand to see what’s available. Some options in online photos might not be available. We had a wonderful time here and everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The wine choices were also top notch. We had a wonderful Malbec that went great with the cucumber carpaccio and the veal tomahawk steak. When dessert options came I couldn’t decide so we got the blueberry cobbler and the lemoncello cake. They were delicious by themselves but eaten together was magic. It was a wonderful dinner out.

What a lovely relaxed yet classy experience. Swordfish entree was absolutely delectable perfect. Calimari appetizer was the most tender I have ever had. We took dessert home. Would definitely go again.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at School House. Our good was superb. I ordered the duck and it was cooked perfectly. The chef even accommodated for my dietary restriction and made my dish without dairy. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall wonderful dining experience!

Fantastic service, solid tap list, and the best BBQ we’ve eaten in Maine. Portions are generous and tasty–definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!
