Server was super nice and attentive. We ordered Irish nachos , onion rings and a cheeseburger. The ranch on the nachos was a little sour tasting and threw off the Irish nachos. The onion rings were delicious and fresh . The burger was cooked well but the bun was super dried out and crumbled . I just pulled off the bun and used a fork. Overall it wasn’t bad and I would try something else next time .

Out of all the Schoop’s locations in NW Indiana, this location has the BEST burgers and onion rings, compared to their other locations…they’re always cooked to perfection, hot, and very delicious. I wished the other locations, used this restaurant’s cook staff to emulate and duplicate their food at their particular restaurant…I know their business would definitely increase, because there is a lot of local “word of mouth “ on how good their burgers and onion rings are…

Hobart Schoops: We had two of their delicious large salads- Loaded Chicken and the Tossed Chicken. They were great and enough leftovers for tomorrow. Plus-the lemon meringue pie and the cheesecake were quite good; both freshly baked at a Chicago bakery. Thank You Cierra for giving us our senior discount without us asking—yes we are both seniors. Well be back.

The lady that took my order over the phone was really rude. Placed my order like always. She asked me twice what I meant by everything, everything. I explained to her that I wanted everything but relish. She repeated my order twice to me (lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo). Got my burger to none of the above. She did leave off the relish, thank goodness!

My favorite Schoops in the area! They redid it a few years back and it looks amazing on the inside. Food is standard Schoops. Can’t really go wrong. Service is always on point too. Well run shop and it shows!

Everything here was good. The food was served quickly and it was good. But wow the prices have soared! Every burger on the menu was between $10-20 this did not include regular fries ($5.50) then a soda ($3.50)This is why I can’t give 5 stars. Now I understand prices have gone up on everything. That being said, I go much more high end burger places with premium burgers with all sorts of additional toppings and hand cut fries it’s a lot different experience. Those burgers cost me less. I can’t bring my family here and have lunch and shakes without a second mortgage. It used to be a fun treat now it’s just too much.
