When we walked in, no one said hi or said anything at all. We just sat ourselves and waited a few minutes until someone finally came over to help us. After that point, everything was good. They even handed out really tasty homemade donuts.

The Schultz’s Cozy Cafe is a bit of a misnomer because the place is quite large and it has more of a truck stop atmosphere. It occupies half of a BP gas station building. The place is conveniently located right on Highway 45, so you can’t miss it. The coffee is good, and we got plenty of it. The breakfast food is pretty standard fare, and you should expect to pay around $10 or more for a regular breakfast entre. The House Omelet for $14 was huge. They have daily lunch specials, burgers, etc., and feature fried chicken as well as Friday fish, but the place closes early at 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Monday through Friday they are open until 7:00 pm. I hear that pie is great, but we were too full to try it.

Very impressed with the food of this off-the-beaten-path restaurant. We had a cheeseburger, a mushroom Swiss burger, fries, and onion rings. Everything was really good: toasted buns, crispy fries, BBQ flavored mushrooms. The complimentary creamy cukes also very tasty.

This is a great little stop with good food. Way more than we could eat with our dinners. And she even put a candle in the pie and sang happy birthday to my husband!!! Small town atmosphere. Friendly service.

What an absolutely charming place! Had an impromptu family get together and met there. The waitress, an older lady, was attentive and good-natured. She even brought out cookies after the meal, AND gave out a free slice of pie after she heard one of us had a birthday that day!! The food was great, by the way!

I had a pleasant quiet dining experience here. Good food and deserts. The house made bread and pies are so delicious. Great staff. Also there is an adjoining store there. With gas and diesel and big rug and automobile wash. Also if you like buying beautiful art. This place has beautiful scenic pieces of art for sale. Loved it.

Food and service both were terrible. Served food without the kids meals being delivered with the fries as listed in menu. The appetizer platter had only two piece of each. The $40 charge for meal was outrageous for the amount of food. Will never eat here again or reccomend it to anyone. Had to rate a star to just to be able to post. Otherwise I wouldn’t have even given it the one.

The service here is unbeilveably professional, curtious, kind & quick. They offer a complementary “Potato” donut (you’ll love it) on Sunday’s only. They cost .50 apiece. Bring family & friends & you’ll return as a happy customer. Enjoy.
