I have been to this restaurant 2 times, and both times have been wonderful experiences. The restaurant itself is elegant and beautifully decorated. The waiters are very attentive and welcoming. I ordered the 8oz rib eye cap, King Crab oscar, and the lobster fried rice. Every single dish was exquisite and full of flavor… i would definitely eat here again..

Excellent food and the service!!! Great from the start with professional sweet hosts. The bartender made an excellent Martini and wine selection was spot on. Steak was extraordinary. Ace my server couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and attentive. Managers stopped by to see how I was enjoying everything. Felt relaxed but elegant. Looking forward to my next Vegas visit at The Palms and Scotch 80 Prime.

Friendly greeting by hostesses. I didn’t understand the decor. I didn’t like the music and was expecting there to be a live musician as described in some reviews. Our server was slow to get to us after being seated even though it was pretty empty when we went. Server was friendly enough, but we weren’t really blown away by the service especially for the price point. The girl who brought us our water, more bread, and boxed our leftovers was more attentive than the actual server.

Excellent all around! I had never heard of this place, but I will make it part of my regular location. Classy, spacious place with a nice bar. The service was impeccable, the wait staff wore tuxedo coats, and they had a talented piano player playing lively music. Ordered the shrimp cocktail that was presented well, chilled, and very tasty. The cocktail sauce was good. The chef sent out some complimentary sushi/caviar type snack that mixed well. It had a slight fishy taste but was good even though it was something I would not usually order. I ordered the bone in New York strip. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had in Vegas. Top quality cut of meat, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The craft cocktails were thoughtful, unique, and well balanced. The service was so good it was like we had our own exclusive waiter. I will definitely go back and add this to my favorites. My only critique is that they could have added one more shrimp to the cocktail for the price.

The signature Steak House at The Palms Hotel & Casino won’t rank among the top echelon of restaurants in the area but is solid enough. The homemade Pretzel bread and potato chips were promising starts and the shrimp cocktail with sambal sauce was on point. Things went slightly flat from there though as the dry-aged New York steak was nothing special and the novel Brie fondue hash brown accompaniment was not as good as the counterpart from my local breakfast diner. The homemade sorbet dessert featured a large portion of 3 scoops of different flavors but all were too sweet and too tart at the same time (how is that possible?) Only the coconut-lime flavor was worth finishing. Service was polite enough but unattentive and without sincerity. For the price, one can do better without venturing too far.

Really nice gourmet room at the Palms Hotel Casino. The service, cocktails and food were impeccably fantastic! The presentation was beautiful with flowers and greens. We had Crab bisque ( YUM!!), Caprese salad, halibut and salmon. The prices are not as steep as other gourmet rooms in Vegas but it is definitely TOP NOTCH!!

Wow! Scotch 80 Prime was fantastic. From the staff to the food, couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. Joseph and his support staff were phenomenal. As with other high-end restaurants, our meal was never rushed over the 90-minutes we were there. Bone-in Filet was amazing, Hash Browns were outstanding with the fondue Brie, and the cheesecake dessert was perfect – not too sweet, not too rich. Can’t wait to come back.

Checked out this place last Saturday night while staying at The Palms, and my buddy and I were so happy we did. We had a 5:30pm reservation, we were seated within 10 minutes. Our waiter, Luis, came right away and took our drink order. We tried the Mai Tais that were amazing. He then went over the menu and their specials. We went with their filet mignon with asparagus. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Finished it off with a special cheesecake. I gotta say Luis and all the staff provided superb service. The piano player made it even better. The food was delicious, I highly recommend you try this place.

Bougie restaurant, but good food. The waiter wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu, which was a bit disappointing (we ordered a side that we didn’t know already came with our meals and the waiter did not say anything about it), but the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. We went for a birthday and the birthday girl was happy, so mission accomplished.
