If you want a big burger and hot fries (mushroom and swiss was definitely better than most), other sandwiches or chicken, in a definitely favorite local watering hole with loud local country radio playing loudly, this is where you need to stop on your way up Highway 10. Some Tap beer selections besides Busch Light.

Absolutely best breakfast EVER! Veggie skillet was aahhhh-mazing as was the bloody Mary. Took me back to the days when my Pops would play cards or dice over morning coffee. It was crazy busy, but it was like everybody knew everybody and they were incredibly friendly. If you’re looking for fancy, it’s not your place, but if you want terrific food and a fun laid-back Northern Minnesota place, Scottie’s is a must.

The exterior of the building is not very inviting but the inside is okay. The decor is Americana and Harley though somewhat dated, with country music in the background. Our service and food were good.

Really good food at decent prices. Staff are GREAT. Very funny, love to get abrupt to get a reaction. So far, so good, right? The downside is their choice on decor. A LOT of political stuff promoting a lying, stealing, wanna-be despot and traitor to democracy. This might the owners true feelings of who they choose to support, or it might be their “shtick” to make them unique or memorable. Either way, not appreciated, so will not be returning there. My money, my choice to sadly NOT support a local business that otherwise would be a regular meal choice for us. Sorry. Not sorry.
