The burgers are good. Cooked fresh. Nice proportions. Fries are ok. Typical crinkle cut frozen bagged fries. Lacking salt but they’re cooked fresh. Service is so-so. The lady typically there comes across as rude. Definitely not concerned with making the customer feel welcome. The place is inconsistent. Never really know when they will be open. They are cash only so that can be a little inconvenient. And the wait is always 20 plus minutes, at times even up to 45 minutes. Couple of sticky picnic tables outside to eat on. Not covered. Not much room for parking. Their lot is shared with a transmission repair shop so the noise and smell of oils and grease make dining there not ideal. They stopped offering milk shakes. Use to be a nice hole in the wall burger joint. Now, just mediocre. Hopefully they turn it around. Sadly, looks like they’re headed for closing up for good.

Always enjoy their food it’s always delicious my favorite thing there is there fried mushrooms, and zucchini. I’m not really a big hamburger fan but I definitely love theirs always make sure you bring cash they only take cash.

Great price on food did take a little while but I don’t want to rush excellence. Their burger was spot on and delicious in ginormous. I love the fact that I couldn’t finish it all in one go and was able to enjoy it more later.

That is a burger place it’s no seating but it has to be if not the best burger places in Sacramento it is one of the best so it’s mostly order and pick up they do have a couple of benches outside but nothing like a restaurant

These burgers are DELICIOUS! Its cash-only, meaning I usually have to make a plan to go here as I usually don’t carry the paper stuff, but its always worth it. Krinkle Cut fries and TONS of burger options. Just brought back taquitos and jalapeno poppers. Definitely one of the best burgers in Sac! Can’t beat the prices.

Scott’s been doing right here since ’82. Go Scott. It’s not fast food! They cook your burger when you order it. Deluxe cheese burger very good. Maybe too much bun, next time the double. That would make it just about perfect. Four tables on the shady side to wait. Everyone I saw got it to go. It takes a little time but there’s a reason hes been here since ’82.

I’ve been coming to Scott’s burger shack since 2004 and it still has the same good flavored burgers and fries. It appears their location may close earlier than listed as once I got my meal at 5pm, they were closed right after. I got a ticket with my meal number on it and waited about 10-15mins for my order. I had a super Fatboy Combo with fries and a X Large Fanta Orange and a Vanilla shake. The quality of the burger was good however it was a bit on the greasy side. Overall enjoyable experience.

Good, simple food stand that serves traditional American burgers. Great value. There isn’t any indoor dining room. There can be a line during the lunch hours, so expect to wait 30 minutes or more to get your food. It’s cash only.
