I had a fire Cuban! It had so much pork in it that was super moist. Pork Philly that was great too! What a gem in Iron River! We will be back to try the pizza. Extremely cozy inside!

If I’m being honest. The place is small and not very impressive on the outside, and the inside at first has the feeling of an old restaurant trying to modernize. When me and my friend saw the place, I said, “I hope it’s one of those places that’s looks bland but great food and not food as bland as it looks.” A good hole in the wall is what I hoped for. But after walking in I took note of the terribly scratched floors that would make proper people turn away but I looked at where those scratches were, underneath each chair and in a perfect U shape around the registers. A good sign of many people coming to the shop and my friend pointed out the EMTs that came in to eat on their lunch break. Means a lot when people with jobs like theirs come to a place like that on their lunch. Lemmie just say for 18 dollars those were some damn good subs. Highly recommend it.

The food is great, a little stingy on the sub ingredients, but still tastes great. However, for the last month or two every single time I have called in a to go order, well in advance, I show up at the time it should be done and I have to wait for at least 20 mins before it’s ready. Pizzas are worse than subs as far as how long extra I’ve had to wait. Each time I’ve had to wait the amount of time it takes to bake a pizza so it’s pretty obvious they aren’t making it till I get there and ask for my order. This is always the evening shift so maybe day time is better

I am currently visiting Iron River and decided to get a sub here. I got the chicken parmesana and it was delicious. The gentleman who rung me up, (I believe possibly the franchise owner) although quiet, was extremely kind. I asked for a spoon sample of their peanut butter ice cream with Mackinac chocolate chunks and he gave me a whole little scoop! It made my day. I will be back next time I’m in town.

Cozy place in the town of Iron River that is a MUST stop for a bight. Their sandwich menu is lengthy, the ingredients taste fantastic and the bread (the best part of any sammie IMHO) is the best in the Midwest. We make a point to eat lunch here whenever we are within 30 minutes of Scott’s. Try it, you won’t be disappointed in this little gem. Not a lot of seating, but place is clean and offers take out.

This place is great! Nice setup, friendly staff and great menu. I got the Steggy and it was delicious! Bread was perfect. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll have to stop on my way back and try another sandwich on the menu!

Big “Springfield1983” Mouth
Pizzas and the number 3 sub for supper. Pepperoni was delicious and the thin crust bbq chicken thin crust was nice and crispy. The piece in the photo was only one of three “toddler” pieces The sub had delicious soft bread. For a 6” it ate like a foot long. The building is big with seating inside and out. Plus there’s ice cream!
