Scoville Hot Chicken is a story about how inspiration leads to passion, and how pursuing dreams can come true. Justim Lee, a Michelin awarded chef from LA, decided to open a Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant after being blown away when tasting the spicy fried chicken at Howlin’ Ray restaurant from great Chef Johnny Ray Zone. After travelling the world tasting and learning about food, he went to Nashville to dig in everything about spicy hot chicken. And decided to bring the concept to Atlanta metro area.

I got the hottest option they had, which had a bit of a kick, but wasn’t near as spicy as I’m used to at other hot chicken restaurants. Cafeteria chicken tenders, with a lot of spicy dry rub shaken onto it. While chicken and technically spicy, this was not Nashville hot chicken. No sweetness, none of the classic flavors. Not bone dry but definitely not moist, and you had to give it a strong pull to tear it apart.

I’ve been going to scoville for a very long time, the other locations have been a sheer disappointment, when I decided to give scoville another try I went to this location, and they totally changed my perspective on the reasturant. This location and the lawrenceville location are the best places to visit. If you want a hot chicken sandwich that shows amazing quality and service that’s above and beyond, come to these locations. The food difference between these two locations vs the others is a night and day difference. They actually care about customers and make food swiftly and efficiently as possible. I will continue to give these locations my business in the future.

I enjoyed the chicken sandwich and fries. I selected the NOT SPICY option but the chicken was still very well seasoned. Food was fresh and the establishment was clean. I used the kiosk to order my food EXACTLY how i wanted it. I will definitely come back.

I have tried Scoville at other two branches in Georgia already, so i know their food and flavor quite well. This restaurant is also same. The only thing I noticed is that Extra Hot was not as spicy as I experienced in other places. It could be one time or may be they lowered the spicy level for some reason. But the service, food quality, quantity and everything was above par. Good experience.

I have been wanting to check this place out since it’s opening and I am so glad that I did because the chicken is authentic, delicious, and full of flavor. The proportion size of the platters are huge and full of meat so when you see the price just know that it matches not only the size of the food that you’re getting, but the authenticity of it. Minus the food being fantastic and delicious, I was quite impressed by the level of service provided by the store owner. Not only was she kind and gave me a free drink well I waited for the food, but she thanked me for giving her business a try. The level of class presented by this institution really won me over. No one these days takes the time to thank their customers the way that this lady did, and you could tell she really meant it. I hope my next visit will be as great as my first. I look forward to coming back very very soon! Thank you for the wonderful meal and service!

Probably the best chicken sandwich in the area. Unlike other places that compromise taste for unreasonable spice, Scoville makes no such trade off and has incredible flavor enhanced by its high spice level. The chicken is always fried to perfection, with delicately balanced bread and toppings to complement it. All of the people here are incredibly nice as well to top it all off. The extra hot sandwich is usually my default order, while the reaper is my choice for special occasions. Overall highly recommended, and quickly becoming my go-to place.

This is the amount of fries they are serving! Like why are you even giving the fries. I been to so many places and got 3 times more fries than this. Like come on people you charge 12 bucks at least give some decent amount of food.

this place was pretty good it was so expensive tho. i got the tender meal and it was 15 dollars for 2 tenders and a drink was 2 more dollars i just feel like it should be included… i wouldn’t come here again as like a first choice but if it were like a craving maybe. Their fries are great tho. Also the mild flavor on the tenders is pretty weird it’s smoky but like not a good smoky. yk??

I want to start off and say that I’m a big fan of the west midtown and Sandy Springs locations. That being said, the food here was so bad that this location might as well be a knockoff store. I ordered a medium spicy sandwich and the only flavor I tasted was salty. Way too salty. Flavor of the chicken breast was masked by the insane amount of salt added to the sauce. Food aside, this location only has two of the specialty beverages (not including lemonade). Though this may not be a deal breaker for some, the beverages are a big reason why I typically choose Scoville over other chicken sandwich places.
