Delicious food. Very limited parking. Be sure to use their waiting list feature. All party members must be present to be seated. Patience is a must!

This place was absolutely perfect. Upon arriving and waiting to be seated we were offered beverages. Ms Tammy was our server and she was amazing. So pleasant, so sweet, so accommodating. The food was AMAZING!!!!!!!! The fried green tomatoes and the chicken and waffles. I recommend this place 100 times over. Only downside is parking, but the service and food definitely makes up for that.

Visiting Greensboro to attend a concert at the Eastern Music Festival, I Googled “delicious breakfast near me” and found the Scrambled Southern Diner! We arrived at 9:30 on a Saturday morning, and though it was very busy, we didn’t have to wait for a table since we were willing to be seated outside. Great service. Delicious coffee. Fantastic breakfast! There are so many amazing options on the breakfast menu, it was difficult to make a decision. I went with a “basic” breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, grits, with a blueberry pancake. Everything was perfection! Will be back in town in 2 weeks for more EMF concerts and the Scrambled Southern Diner is definitely on our list for repeat visits!

Had the French Toast with the Banana Almond topping. The Toast was cooked to perfection and had the exact amount of topping. Together, it was very favorable. I had a side of Fried Green Tomatoes and Cheddar Grits. I wish there was a little more flavor to the tomatoes. They just didn’t have the bite they I’ve come accustomed to in this southern dish. The grits were filled with cheese and cooked to a nice consistency for me. The grain was smoother than the stone ground that can be found in many southern restaurants. Their pancakes are huge and cooked to a golden brown service. I was very satisfied with the meal as a whole and very fulfilling. There’s always a wait. So be patient. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Parking is tight in their lot, I had to park down the in the gravel parking lot and walk up and that got full pretty quickly as well. Was a 10 minute wait. The place was small but nice had the seating packed in. Ordered the corn beef hash with potatoes and biscuit didn’t take long at all to come out. Was very filling and enjoyed it. The lady that served us was really nice as well. Would definitely come back and try lunch

I wanted to be lenient. I really did, since they even put out signs saying explicitly there were work shortages. But coming here was really a disappointment. For some inexplicable reason, the front of the store is not the entrance to the restaurant; worse is that all the front doors were locked so I jiggled the handles and wandered around before finally just going ithroughthe back. What was worse was that despite the lobby being empty had to wait for a server to come by and seat me at a table, despite there visibly being servers that weren’t occupied. I ordered the chicken little, and first off you can see the scallions are very coarsely chopped. Not my preference, but it could just be a stylistic choice. But what really got me was the fact that the food was only just barely warm, and the hashbrowns tasted like cooking spray. I couldn’t even finish it. This place looks nice but has waffle house quality.

Word of advice. Reserve your seat. Reserve your seat. Reserve your seat. I cannot say it enough. This place is packed. The food is great and it’s in a busy area. I reserve my seat when I was at home. Waited an hour. Got there and still had people ahead of me. Which was fine. I’m glad I resreve ahead because those people that were walking up they were told that there was a 2-hour wait. But needless to say the food was great. I had never tasted fried green tomatoes as good as this place. If you are a fried green tomato person, then you know that sometimes the breading will fall off. Not here that bread and stayed on that tomato with each bite. I will be coming back just for the fried green tomatoes. I ordered crab eggs Benedict. And that was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here really soon and I will be reserving my seat early.

I have to be honest, I’m a little disappointed. I arrived at this establishment at 1:30pm. I do understand they close at 2pm and I also understand if they’re no more biscuits for the biscuits & gravy that it would have to be made from scratch. What I don’t understand is how I was served the sausage gravy in a to go bowl with cheese hiding in it. I’ve order from here before and it never had cheese in it. I also didn’t receive my eggs and the biscuits were over cooked. The server was really nice with a positive attitude.

This place had pretty nice food. No! Bottomless mimosas however, you can get a pitcher. I had the biscuits with vegan mushroom gravy and biscuits. It is not vegan cuz it was made with margarine however. I think the hash browns are vegan so maybe they can do a hash brown and vegan mushroom gravy. But this place mostly caters to vegetarians. But vegan options are available. They are pretty popular for serving breakfast and black skillets. Overall a perfect place for brunch or lunch….
