Was in the area, so I tried Scuttlebutt for the 1st time. Busy place, line moved quickly. Went with a ice coffee with a caramel shot. Added cream and sugar on the side. Thought it was okay. Went with a pulled pork, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. Came out piping hot thought it was pretty good. Bagel was a little over toasted. Perfection was expected and not quite achieved. While at the coffee cream station, a bottle of Rosemary Serrano caught my eye. Put a little in a sauce cup they had available. Added a little to my sandwich and it added a nice kick. Street parking is available, but limited. Was going to take a scone to go, but the flavor of the day didn’t appeal to me. $16 for an ice coffee and breakfast sandwich. Prepare yourself. place has nice decor. Soak it in.

This is our favorite local spot for friendly fast service, excellent breakfast sandwiches (egg and cheese with avocado spread and tomato on potato roll, a fresh scone, and fresh OJ, is our favorite), excellent espresso drinks. For lunchtime or dinner the menu could be improved but the draft beer and mixed cocktails are lovely at the outdoor patio seating.

One of my favorite local coffee shops that focuses on fresh, quality ingredients and a rotating weekly menu. They have an amazing patio that is shaded and perfect for catching up with friends on the porch. I’ve come for coffee, snacks and sandwiches and have loved everything I’ve ordered. The first visit I had ordered a plain latte and didn’t care for the flavor profile, but their mocha is delicious. Can’t wait to try their cocktails on weekend evenings. Note in lieu of accepting tips they charge an 18% service fee onto your check.

This place is the real deal. Incredibly high amount of care put into the food and coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to see they sell Tandem coffee, which is a great coffee shop in Portland, Maine. My man operating the espresso machine is a true artist. That coffee is rich.

We’ve been in love with Scuttlebutt since the farmers market days! Casey has the best and most inviting spot! She is super friendly, personable, and interactive with her guests. Scuttlebutt has the most amazing menus and the best staff around. Enjoying a meal and cocktail on the patio is a weekly necessity for us in the warmer months.
