Our first restaurant in Laurel MS. Hands down one of the best restaurants me and my husband has ever been too. Talking about some good ol cooking. On top of that delicious food the people are so genuinely sweet. The lady held Waylon who was fussing while we ate. She kept him calm and got a little giggle out of him. She asked the girls if they wanted a hot dog or cheese sticks. We appreciated her but told her it would go to waste. As we paid and was leaving the man asked us if everything was great and told us to come back tomorrow and he will give the kids free snow cones. Talking about southern hospitality. Laurel Mississippi is definitely a HomeTown.

A mom and pop sort of place. We stopped in for a quick bite mid afternoon. I got a couple of hotdogs with chili, and my wife got a cheeseburger with fixings. My dogs were cooked perfectly and the buns were toasted on the grill. The chili was awesome and infused with a sweet bbq sauce… actually quite excellent. My wife loved her burger, juicy and nicely cooked, and sauced the way we sauce our burgers in Cajun country. We stay around Laurel often, and will be back.

We are from PA, visiting Laurel. We were looking for a breakfast place and found S&D Country Kitchen. The food was fantastic. We had sausage, hasbrowns, eggs and toast. Best hash browns I ever had. And the owner and staff were the nicest people. If we lived here we would eat here often!

Spent well over $35 for to go meals, and I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! Food had NO KIND OF SEASONING! I’m talking bout a ribeye, that was not MED WELL, Fried Chitterlings THAT WAS MOSTLY BREADING, UNSalted MASHED POTATOES, that we’re CLEARLY INSTANT, This is a Late Review Post. I “HAD” decided to give them another chance, BUT EVERYTIME I went by there THEY WERE CLOSED, AND THIS WAS DURING THE HOURS THAT THAY HAD POSTED that they would be open! REALLY??!!
