Lovely find, cozy restaurant. Great service, like used to be in old times, casual though very professional at the same time. The restaurant on Friday was full, but the wait time for meal was short, we also got a complimentary appetizer, which was a surprise: hummus with warm (!) pita bread. The food was very fresh: excellent & huge portions too lobster rolls were delicious, Kobe Beef Chopped Steak was very tasty and juicy, fries and fingerling potatoes just great, shrimp pasta had a generous amount of shrimp. We absolutely loved it and will be back when in the area.

We stopped to have lunch and didn’t regret our decision. Cute neat place with friendly people. We ordered beer, oysters, rustic tomato salad, grilled sardins, and baked Maine cod with French fries. Everything came out so delicious. We were so hungry that I forgot to make pictures.

Sea Bar is a quaint Mediterranean location. It’s the perfect size and atmosphere to eat and drink well and still be able to enjoy the people you are with. If you have ever doubted if fresh herbs, salt, and pepper were all that was needed to make food taste good, Sea Bar will answer that question, and it’s a yes. Our server Vanessa was also the bartender, and the drinks were great, not too strong but definitely not weak. We had the Sea Bream and Tuna for entrees, grilled sardines, octopus, and the grouper soup (it’s not called grouper soup, but i can’t remember the name) for the appetizers.

The food was excellent. There is only one server. We went there for lunch on early Saturday. We were the only group of 9pax. Then it gets busy. The waitress was patient and attentive too.

The restaurant itself is super cozy, the service is very friendly, and the prices are so reasonable. The food itself was also 10/10! We also had a glass of margaritas and a beer, respectively. Definitely a “must” spot regardless of how many times you’ve been in Great Neck. This is THE spot!

SeaBar recently hosted a family gathering for us. There was about 40 of us and the staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was fresh and amazing and all served on time. Would gladly go back anytime. Highly recommended!

This is a fairly new restaurant in Great Neck, minutes from the LIRR and across a busy shopping plaza. Everything on the menu was practically seafood and/or Greek. Three meat proteins are offered so do browse the menu before going if you’re not feeling seafood. They did offer salads, desserts and small appetizers that were not seafood related. The bartender does a good pour as I enjoyed my drink of choice, Negroni. The waitress was pleasant and checked in on us a few times. She took our order without writing it down. And she got it all correct! The menu has great variety in regards to raw bar, hot food and sides. One note: the beet salad with a creamy garlic was really good but I wished for more garlic. I love garlic. This visit I ordered the grilled octopus – great char and good plating. Just a tad too well done but flavors were good. Tuna tar tar was the stand out appetizer which I had as my dinner. I shared the Chilean Sea Bass with my friend and it had a refreshing lemon/citrus finish. Tables were nicely spaced and the restaurant decor was very comfortable.

Mother was in the mood for a whole fish, typed on my phone what was close by. Found the gem Sea Bar in Great Neck. She has the whole bronzino grilled boneless with grilled vegetables. She said it was fresh, flavorful & enjoyed every last bite! I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Everything on my plate was hot & fresh, chicken was juicy & flavorful, fresh fries lightly salted. Now on to me being mind blown with the hummus OMG, I’ve never had it (hummus) in my life, wow! It was bursting with flavor with nice & warm grilled pita chip’s. Mother said we are definitely returning here to try the sole! Staff is attentive & informative, friendly! My waitress was awesome! Keep up the wonderful work! Definitely recommend to any & all!!!
