A hidden gem with a laid back friendly atmosphere and excellent food. I stopped in today for the first time. I bought lunch for my wife and I. I got her the Tampa Cuban and for me the Spicy Italian with a side of Damn good spicy sweet mustard and a Arnold Palmer. Really delicious food. I definitely look forward to coming back again.

A hidden gem on Fort Island Trail. Grab a sub on the way to the beach or on your way home. A great selection of fresh made subs. And don’t forget the iced tea. They also make that with several to choose from. I love the Arnold Palmer iced tea personally. I recommend you give them a try because in my opinion, I’m never disappointed. I believe their hours are from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Take out or call ahead.

I cannot say enough great things about this deli. The owners are super nice and let us sample their Jalapeño Salmon dip (which I really enjoyed)! We thoroughly enjoyed the club sandwich, but the real gem is the Raspberry grilled cheese. I cannot put into words how delicious it is. Thank you so much to the owners for a fantastic experience!

The best sandwich I’ve ever had! I got the Miami Cuban and it exceeded my expectations. Lots of flavors complimenting one another and the bread was done just right. Excellent customer service and personable people. If I lived nearby I would try everything on the menu! All the samples provided were fantastic and it was an overall great experience.

Was looking for a good sandwich place for lunch and finally decided to try Sea Hagg. The food and experience was amazing. Mark and Jody were welcoming, personable and pleasant to chat with as they prepared the food. A buddy and I were intrigued, so we ordered a few sandwiches to try and each of them were fantastic. We agreed the Reuben (with pastrami) was the best of the lot, followed closely by the Grilled Cheese. The experience was good enough we returned the following day with another friend to get a whole new collection of sandwiches, and discovered how amazing the Italian sandwich was as well. They have locally sourced items for sale, and they are quick to provide you insights into the food, recommendations, and alternatives. Their smoked salmon dip, as mentioned by other reviewers, was also a big hit. 100% will be returning for lunch when we are in the area and recommend the shop and it’s owners to anyone looking for a great deli experience.
