I first walked in I was greeted with smile from both husband and wife. The food was awesome and the people were better. If I could give them 20 stars if I would. Had the hot bar lunch that served chicken fried steak. Food was delicious, green beans and mashed potatoes seasoned to perfection. Owner was very personable and served us huge portions along with a cupcake. Would visit again just to try the quail.

Phenomenal service and food! As I walked in, I was greeted by the most friendliest waitress! She was very attentive and such a joy to be around. The steak that I ordered was cooked exactly how I wanted and it was absolutely perfect! Love the relaxing atmosphere! I talked to the owner and he was just as friendly and nice. Very quick, friendly service around dinner time on a Saturday. I had fried and grilled quail-tasty both ways, but really liked grilled. My 8 yr. Old gave their fried catfish “3 thumbs up.”

We ate here because we were staying at the motel next door. Due to one of the reviews here, we went in with some worry about what the expense might be. When we arrived, we found that the prices were extremely reasonable and appropriate for a small-town casual American food restaurant. We ordered cheeseburgers, which were generously sized, delicious, and served piping hot. With them came some of the best-cooked crinkle-cut fries I think I’ve ever had (nice and crispy on the outside, not mealy or mushy). We believe that the review stating that a few appetizers cost them $60 must have been posted for the wrong establishment. It just doesn’t make sense for a review of this place. (We found out there is a similarly-named restaurant 26 miles away, so perhaps it was a case of mistaken identity). EAT HERE! You won’t be sorry.
