Ok I didn’t want to do this, but I’m so disappointed with this meal. Ordered fried whiting & shrimp combo with mac & cheese. Seafood was fried to order, which is the pro. The con is the mac & cheese tasted spoiled. The fish were the tiniest pieces I’ve ever had. Got 5 to substitute the poor quality. So thin they could’ve dropped it into the fryer and one minute later it’s done!! The shrimp was good but everything had a tainted scent. Believe this place is black owned so it really saddens me that this is a spot I can’t recommend.

I have been coming to Seafood ring for years …..I go whenever I want to treat myself to home cooking that I don’t want to cook……..And I must honestly say each time I go the food is better. Some places start out good and then the go downhill … not you guys !!! I ordered the fried whiting with Mac and cheese, collard greens and yams… everything is absolutely delicious with no exaggeration at all… I have been to quite a few soul food places and they were all more expensive and nowhere near as good…. Keep up the great work you are doing ….I’m so happy we have a place like this in Paterson!!!! I hope you can expand one day…. Food this good has to be shared ….

Hi. I absolutely love the food here. Recently I traveled to come purchased some food from Seafood Ring. The food was good but I noticed that the food quantity is less since the passing of Mr. Travis. When Mr. Travis ran the restaurant, he made sure that he gave the customers a lot of food to the point I found myself having left overs. I ordered the flounder, when I had opened the container I saw 4 small pieces of flounder that was equivalent to 1 whole piece of fish. I just don’t want to see this restaurant go downhill because of the passing Mr. Travis which was the heart and soul to the restaurant Seafood Ring.
