Me and my friend took our mothers there for Mother’s Day. The food was fresh but the clams tasted like they had salt in them (which some was still closed). They gave us more seasoning then they gave us butter. My fresh Oster shot had more cocktail sauce and hot sauce than a shot of vodka. For $10 I was expecting a shot not a pinch of vodka. I gave this rate due to seafood not being cleaned as good and the butter was super salty. I have been before and it was VERY different.

Me. And my friend was in Nashville for her Birthday and we couldn’t go where we wanted to go due to some I. D. Issues but Im so glad we did come to Seafood Sensations because it was Great the customer service was the best I’ve had in years really friendly and answered all questions with no attitude I loved it and I will be traveling 2 hrs to come back

I gave a 5 star review 4 years ago but had to come back to update (still 5 stars!!) because as often I return to this place they just don’t miss. SS is a neighborhood gem. Hands down still the best seafood in Nashville and they’ve updated their interior to be more aesthetically pleasing. The Jefferson St area is on the come up as well, all in all was 5 stars and still 5 stars!

If you are looking for crab, this is the place to come! The crab was perfectly salty, well seasoned and expertly cooked! The pork sausage was amazing right up there with the crab. Some of the best I have had! Usually it is too heavy and I don’t want a lot. Couldn’t get enough! For the crab and sausage this place is one of the best in the United States! Also, we tried the fried pickles they came out fresh and hot, even though they were too temperature hot to eat, I couldn’t help he eat another. So good even without ranch!

We are from Florida. My husband is getting a stem cell transplant from the VA. He was craving a catfish dinner before chemotherapy starts. This small restaurant has the best catfish!!!!! The waitress was outstanding. Kind and really cared about us. The music was soulful. We will definitely go back before we leave Nashville .

My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to pick up a to-go order (Alaskan (Snow Crab) Steamer and the 20 Shrimp Steamer). Both of the meals were excellent (portions were huge and the food was great and well seasoned). The meals came with red potatoes, broccoli and an ear of corn, and everything was coated in garlic butter.

Amazing!! I came here for lunch on a whim and it was the best choice! I was greeted with a warm welcome and given a few suggestions on the menu. I decided on the grilled shrimp and it was so good!! The veggies were cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned well. The mango tea topped it all off. I can’t wait to eat here again soon!
