Lance, the owner of Seafood Supreme, is the most genuine and welcoming person I have ever encountered in a dining establishment. He truly enjoys being a host and projects the most positive experience. His food is phenomenal! I had the $15 Steamed Shrimp Dinner with sides of corn-on-the-cob, and a side salad. The dozen shrimp were huge, succulent, and covered in the most amazing garlic sauce. The corn was excellent, and the salad was unexpectedly gourmet with chopped walnuts, pickles, and raspberry dressing. I enjoyed two Heineken beers at $5 each. I spent $25 total enjoying the best seafood I’ve ever had in Sarasota without the pretentious bourgeois atmosphere and outrageous prices. I would describe the overall experience as being invited to a neighbourhood hangout where the food is always great, the patrons are all friendly regulars, and you can easily spend 2 hours just talking and laughing about life. I had a blast! Seafood Supreme is not one of the many gentrified yuppie restaurants of Sarasota. This place is authentic old Sarasota that is a meeting point for real locally grown people.

Had a whole red snapper with salad, rice & boiled cabbage for $35. It was excellently prepared and presented by Simon. Full disclosure this is not really a dine in restaurant. It has one table in side, and two tables with a couple stools out along side the road. It is in a depressed area of Sarasota so be advised of that. Again, our two dinners were excellent and there was plenty of it. We met the owner Lance and he discussed his intention to turn the area into a food strip with different ethnic cuisine from different operators. If the quality of the food is as good as we had in those proposed new venues it could turn that whole neighborhood around. We wish him luck.
