Very pleased with this steak and seafood restaurant. The boiled shrimp were perfectly cooked and nice and spicy. The rib eye steak was outstanding, perfectly cooked medium rare as requested. My husband loved the fried catfish and fried oysters. Great service too. Highly recommend.

Wide variety of choices. The food was good. The women’s restroom, however, was terrible. It smelt like sewage, and there were not any paper towels. Was glad I did not go in when I first arrived.

Atmosphere is someone’s version of a seafood restaurant and the service is weird in that they roll plates around on a rolly cart and if you’re sitting in the raised area they just pass the food over the small railing but…the food is delicious and doesn’t disappoint!

I rated my meal at one star only because my mashed potatoes had enough butter for them AND my toast. LOVE butter! Salad was edible. The chicken fried steak was the most abominable attempt at CFS that I have EVER experienced. I am pretty sure that they must have seared whatever piece of steak( NOT cubed steak…or anything tenderized) before attempting to bread it with maybe saltines alone???? I have no idea, but I am still dumbfounded as to HOW they managed to form it without anything actually adhering to the meat. It almost seemed as if this steak was just cooked into a pocket of pie dough??? The gravy made it somewhat edible. This cook may have never eaten a REAL CFS in Texas before.

.If your looking for something fancy not the place. If you like good food resonably priced try this place. I would recommend the fish or shrimp. Been back several times Oysters only seem be large and good during season. The Alligator is excellent must have each visit. My wife had stuffed salmon very good.

We were tired this afternoon from working through the Fair Parade. He wanted whatever, and I wanted a margarita. We settled on Sealand. We were one of 3 guests of tables at 3pm. We were promptly served, my Rita was delicious, his Dr. Pepper was ice cold. He ordered the shrimp and crawfish poboy, which is served with seasoned fries. I had the half pound hot and spicy boiled shrimp. Everything was delicious and we left with take-away boxes because the servings were so plentiful. Thank you Sealand for great food and great service.

Smells (Fabuloso)is too strong for a food setting. Catfish came out not done, they cooked it again and still pink inside. They told me that’s how it is suppose to look. I couldn’t eat it. They offered me another plate of something else but I lost my appetite. They still charged me full price and never once did they apologize. Ended up paying over $30 for 2 meals that were not enjoyable or ate. Never again!!

Stopped here on our way out of town. Food was great and pricing is fair. Service is also good, if we didn’t live so far I would visit frequently:)

The food was very flavorful and was served piping hot. Server was nice. Not too crowded, even for Sunday lunch. The tables and floors were clean. Overall, a good experience.
