This diner might look unassuming, but the food was delicious and service was great. We had a great time here and will be back again.

This was a place we passed up once, and came back to try out. Well, that’s all she wrote. Mike the owner and a local named William was a hoot at the start.

First time visiting the US and this diner looked exactly like in the movies. Most of their customers are locals/regulars. Didn’t expect to be wowed because they offer a pretty typical menu and it was just a tiny diner on a quiet road, but the food was surprisingly so good. Bacon was crisp like it should be, sausage patty was juicy and nicely charred on the grill, the waffle is crisp on the outside and fluffy inside with a tinge of saltiness that complements the maple syrup. Omelette and home fries, simply comfort food. Service was warm and helpful. One of the most memorable meals we had.

Typical diner food. But when food came out of the kitchen, and straight into a microwave, that where I have the problem. Seriously, the soup came out…. Into a microwave. My entree came out, which was seafood, and went right into the microwave. Aside from that, the mashed potato’s were instant. And the corn clearly tasted of canned corn.

Was pleasantly surprised by this diner. It is not pretty to look at and not in a great place. The server was very courteous and the food was good. The Greek salad dressing was tasty and had plenty of feta. My boys had cheeseburgers and they said they were good. Fries were hot and crispy and good. If you just came from Newark Airport and need a quick bite, stop in.

This is where the term Greasy Spoon Diner comes from. Just outside the terminals at Newark Airport. There is nothing special about this place other than it has been around for a very long time and it is a diner. The food is average. The staff loud and at times not so friendly. The place has a heavy industrial and trucking trade so you might get nervous when you pull into the gravel or somewhat paved parking lot. But if its a fried fish sandwich or BLT on white you are looking for? Seaport will have it along with tons of other average cooked items. This is definately better than EWR terminal food if you are traveling to or from a flight at the airport

We really enjoyed our breakfast of eggs, home fries, and homemade corned beef hash. Service was great. Highly recommend! Wasn’t quick enough to snag a before picture because we were famished so you get halfway through. Thanks!

HORRIBLE!!!!! They put MAYONNAISE on my husband’s pancakes and grits We cannot get the taste out of our mouth I had the nerve to try and sneak some of his breakfast before we hit the road cause I wasn’t hungry until he brought the platter to the truck and boy I wish I would’ve kept my sneaky fingers away from that meal smh! They did however replace the meal and I honestly can’t say if it was good or not because the taste from his original order left a foul taste in our mouth that the replacement had me and my husband still dissatisfied. It was our first time visiting this place and we tried it because of the reviews and I will say maybe it was the cook because the previous reviews says they are good however that wasn’t our experience today and hopefully no one else gets the awful experience we had

The Seaport Diner is a classic American diner at its best. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was friendly, courteous, and fast. The waitress was attentive and kind. She stopped by to give us more water, to refill the coffee, and to see if we were enjoying our food. The blueberry pancakes were amazing. It was clear that the locals go to this place, because there were several regulars at the diner while we were there. If you are looking for a diner close to Newark Airport, Seaport Diner is the place to go.
