I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Search Bistro restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food was good, especially the salmon crudo appetizer. However, considering the price point, I expected a fresher salad (not photographed for good reason) and more elevated side dishes. Overall, a decent experience but with room for improvement in certain areas.

Celebrated Mother’s Day early. We got seated at the bar side of the restaurant since it was UNM graduation as well. First time to be on that side and actually prefers it better. The bar is very intimate and service is great.

Seared was absolutely outstanding! We were passing through while moving our daughter to AZ and found it! The food was spectacular, Christopher, our server, was passionate and knowledgeable, and we loved every minute! It’s a hidden gem! Definitely put it on your list! Just fabulous! We will be back!

We are here from Florida on vacation with our adult children who came to this restaurant 2 years ago and have talked about the food ever since. We are so excited to get to try it. There was NO disappointment from the food to the amazing service from Christopher. The fried asparagus the Brie, the rack of lamb was perfect then we ended the night with dessert of crème Brulee and a poached pear with vanilla ice cream. Christopher told us to try it with Sauternes the pear went from delicious to a food experience. Christopher not only waited on us but gave us recommendations for things to do while we’re here. He is seems proud of his service and the great food that is coming out of the kitchen. It’s easy to see how it’s voted one of the best. Thank you for making our night.

First time here. Went here because of the good reviews. EXTREMELY disappointed with just about everything at this place. Only think good was that we were seated quickly with a reservation. We sat at our table for a good ten minutes before anyone even came to offer us water. We didn’t even get a server. We got a person that said he was the bartender. The drink menu said specialty cocktails. Owners – Gin and Tonic is not a specialty cocktail. Ordered drinks. My girlfriend ordered a Ranch Water. It tasted nasty, like dirty water and a bad lime. I ordered an old fashioned. The guy said he could make it right, and dumped a bunch of cherry juice into the bottom. Not good. Food took an hour to come out. Was bland and completely under-seasoned. Really bad experience overall. Will not be back.

Just an outstanding meal. Chris was an amazing server, and the food was top notch. I love how the chef gets to flex some creativity as the menu changes slightly each week, and the atmosphere is great. We had the crab dip appetizer, I had the scallops, and my wife had the sirloin with chimichurri. In all three cases you get a wonderful mixture of flavors with just the right balance and pop. Even the simple dinner salad was elevated by their house made green chili ranch. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants in a lot of cities, and this was among the best meals I’ve ever eaten. We went on a Thursday night and it wasn’t crowded at all.
