Fried tofu was a bit too oily, fried chicken dice not good as expected while the Chinese basil has no aroma at all. I’m over expecting because some of friends highly recommended it. Probably dine in maybe better.

The popcorn chicken was the best I’ve ever had! The basil leaves were so crisp and fried. The chicken was well seasoned and had the perfect crunch that’d make any texture-loving foodie happy. Highly recommend dining in-person for peak freshness.

Food was great. Owner, I assume, was very attentive to how we handle the spice. Very friendly. Definitely worth a repeat. There are 5 levels of spice. I only tried 2 and 3. Will try 4 next time since the owner doesn’t recommend 5 unless you know what you are putting in your mouth.

I was one of the original customers when the dad owned it. The son has expanded the menu. Great beef noodles and fried popcorn chicken. I would say the best tasting beef noodle soup in town. Highly recommended !!

One of my go-to spots when I need some Taiwanese food here in Hawaii. Usually, I get the Beef Noodle Soup, and the excellent flavor reminds me of times in Taiwan when I’m eating it. The beef is tender, and the noodles are silky and chewy, so I always finish the bowl. The owner is a great guy always enjoy having a conversation with him. I definitely will be coming back again.

Located inside the Chinese Cultural Plaza. Authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup. They had an extensive menu but I only had the noodles. The noodles tasted freshly made along with a few slices of brisket and mustard greens. A little expensive for what you get. Pictured is a large bowl – $15

I got the taiwanese popcorn chicken (level 5) and the spicy beef noodle soup (level 4). That chicken was so good, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

I’ve spent a year and a half living in Taiwan. The food from here almost brought tears to my eyes. It was like ordering from local Taiwanese restaurants, same flavor, same authenticity. Even the same somewhat numbing sting from the spicy dumpling chili oil that I’m used to. I just needed the sound of a million scooters and extreme heat to complete the experience . Highly recommended. Do yourself a favor and eat from here. Ordered: Classic Taiwanese beef noodle soup, wonton with chili oil, fried squid balls, and stir fried cabbage with garlic

A hidden gem, a little family run business tucked back in Chinatown you don’t want to miss. Came here to test the spicy beef soup. Wooowieeee did it deliver. It was packed with heat, delicious perfectly cooked noodles, and beef. If you’re looking for a spicy challenge that will make you sweat tears of joy, I highly recommend. The chef Brian was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and dishes. Can’t wait to try his other dishes.
