Omg this place rocks. We are here for our second wedding anniversary. Looking out the window at a gorgeous view. We just had Prime rib and a seafood sampler that was sooooooo good. Jen was our server and she suggested the sampler. She was awesome! Just know we have been here now twice and have had great food and service both times. We will be back for sure. Best clam chowder in town and the food is superb.

Very pleased with the freshness and quality of food here. I ordered fish and chips and clam chowder to go. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. The batter was light and crispy (thank you for not breading it). The clam chowder was surprisingly well seasoned and pleasantly peppery. Even the side salad was thoughtful. Fresh mixed greens, cucumber, Roma tomato and a sweet surprise of tangerine served with a tangy house dressing. Prices were reasonable, the location is stunning.

Food was excellent, and large portion. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast with 2 eggs over medium with sourdough toast. The steak was tender, with gravy that was yummy! Eggs were cooked to perfection. Also ordered a Belgium waffle, that was larger than expected, and delicious Their coffee is quite good also. Prices were very good for a nice restaurant. Highly recommend!!

Probably the best part and certainly why I went is because it is right across from the motel I was in. I didn’t feel like driving into town or walking more than a 1/4 mile up the street to other options. And like previous reviews they take advantage of their location both to the motel and to the beach and prices reflect that. I was shocked at the prices.

We had our very first date here nearly six years ago, not including numerous trips with family before then. We loved everything about this restaurant and we made a special trip back with our kiddos. We were disappointed to find that the quality of service had gone down while the price had gone way up. The person at the front was less than friendly. Our waitress and busser were very nice, but the atmosphere just seemed chaotic and off. We decided to leave for Crescent City and probably won’t be back, which saddens us, because we loved it once upon a time.

Now called Beachfront Bistro. My son and I went for dinner, October 19, 2018. Had a nice drink, delicious appetizer, then waited for about 20 minutes for our entree. We both had hamburgers, which were delicious, but maybe the cooks could be a little more generous with the garnish. One small slice of tomato, three little pieces of onion and a wilted piece of lettuce. For the price I expect more. The french fries were amazing and delicious and more than enough for one person. Overall, a good dining experience, considering they had only been open about a week.

Wait staff was less than perfect, but nice when around. Food was decent, but over priced. Portion sizes are huge… Not sure why one person would need that much pasta. Most of the seafood was delicious and perfectly cooked. Had the mixed seafood linguine. One of the white fish in it tasted a bit off and rubbery like it was frozen.

Very good not super greasy fish like other places in the area, great coleslaw & fries the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the breading on shrimp was a little too heavy so my wife traded them to me for some of my fish, they were big & meaty though just go easier on the breading.
