Delicious! Not sure if much more needs to be said. The food is excellently prepared, and it is fulfilling and satisfying. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they make this little establishment feel homey and comfortable. We absolutely loved our stop for lunch.

One of my favorite spots in Seattle. It truly is a secret. I grew up eating congee as a kid and this was very nostalgic. All the variations and toppings really made this place special. Get the spicy tom yum shrimp congee with the fried dough. You won’t regret it.

I’ve now dined at Secret Congee twice. Each time has been a fantastic experience. My first time was the braised beef and kimchi congee. Second time was the Hokkaido scallop and roasted garlic congee. Both were absolutely delicious. The fried dough was the perfect accompaniment to both congees.

Hipster Congee. Interesting little mom and pop, counter style neighborhood restaurant. Customizable congee with a decent selection of options ranging from $13-25 a plate + +. The dining area is tiny and meant for turn and burn business. I’d come here to takeout but not a place I’d drag my friends or family to.

Lovely name for congee place. My first time trying Thai congee, dense texture with lots of meat to choose from. The braised pork belly is soft n with light herbs & soya sauce taste, Goji berry n fried garlic not only add color to the congee, but enhanced the favour of congee. The crispy dough is my favourite. This place is unique in WA.

Upon a friend’s recommendation, we tried the restaurant and was thrilled to find that their 10/10 congee lived up to expectations. The squash and miso congee, along with the roasted lamb congee paired with youtiao crispy fried dough, were all exceptionally flavorful. The staff was friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. A must-visit for congee lovers and those looking for a satisfying meal.

Absolutely delicious! Large portions of fresh and flavorful congee in a wide range of preparations. Casual. Quick service. We loved the vegetarian (vegan, even!) miso/ squash congee and the hearty beef and kimchee congee.

Flavorful congees, with various choices, from Tom yum soup congee, to classic chicken congee… It’s quite a rare find, don’t see many congee restaurants around. We had the beef and kimchi and Tom yum congees, both of them are very savory: comparing to oriental congee, these are overly salty and spicy, but still worth recommending and trying if really craving for congee.
