The food tastes good, different than some described. It’s flavorful and cooked very well. The veggies are yummy and have a flavorful hibachi flavor with the soft crunch you’d expect from a perfectly grilled vegetable. The meat is tender, and delicious. The rice is moist and savory. The yum yum sauce is NOT watered down like another comment said, this I the perfect consistency and flavor for hibachi. The seaweed salad is yummy too.

We’ve ordered from this location about seven times since they have been open. It’s our FAVORITE restaurant in town. The sushi options are fantastic! It’s always fresh, made in timely manner and the staff are very friendly and always in a great, cheerful mood. Our family will continue to recommend this establishment to everyone we know! It’s also nice to have more choices when it comes to restaurants in this small town. Thanks!

I wouldn’t eat here again. We thought we would try it but honestly nothing was great. My chicken was terrible. The steak was terrible and the rice was mush. Their service was great they were friendly but the food wasn’t what you’d expect. I feel like we wasted our money because it was expensive and we ended up grabbing a fast food burger on the way home. Maybe we will try again in 6 months since they are so new.

Sogoku Habachi is the best sushi restaurant in Jennings County. I’ve worked for a sushi restaurant in Indianapolis, and love sushi of all grades and kinds. You won’t be disappointed. While their menu may not be as extensive as other restaurants, they make up for it by serving all of everyone’s favorite styles of Sushi, and making it extremely well. I’ve stopped driving out of town for great sushi. This is the place to go. They’ve perfected even their wasabi to be just right in intensity. Their staff remembers your name and if you’re a regular, they reward you. Also you’ll be supporting a mom and pop establishment. Stop looking, start eating.

Not impressed to be honest. The chicken was very dry, my vegetables had a weird fishy taste, and the yumyum sauce tasted watered down. Compared to other hibachi style restaurants, this one tasted very cheap and too much emphasis on the ‘express’ part. I did however like the sushi.
