The food and service here were excellent. I loved the fact that a tamale, enchilada, and mini chimichanga came on the same combination plate. That was unique as you don’t usually see that combination in Mexican restaurants. The red sauce that came on the enchilada and tamale was delicious. The tamale was one of the best I’ve had, and I loved the mini chimichanga as well. Super fresh and fast. Great experience.

Food used to be good when Paul worked there. Now the new norm is is playing Russian roulette when you order something. Due to the fact that one moment the food will be outstanding and then the next time you visit it will be dry, unseasoned, or they try to church it up by adding extra things that were never there before into the dish.

Ate lunch on a Friday off the al a carte menu. Had the tamale and the chile relleno, a couple of my favorites. They tout they are an “authentic” mexican cuisine but the tomato sauce was very “can like” and I’ve enjoyed better tamales. A bit bland and the beef was steamed to a fine almost moist powdery texture if that makes sense. Not bad value for the money and I’d give them another try on a later date.

My boyfriend took me out to dinner there and the food was amazing. The server was very nice and made sure that she stayed on top of getting refills for us as soon as she noticed cups were getting low and she made sure that our food was to our liking.

Please don’t take this as a negative review just as constructive criticism. Continued patronage of this local restaurant would definitely help so they can get things figured out. I’m sure they will get things figured out. I would say dine in is hopefully better than take out for this restaurant currently. The staff is extremely nice but still has some issues in terms of service. The food is hit or miss on takeout. I wish I could be more specific and give people an idea of what they could order or what they should stay away from, but it would probably identify me more as a customer. I will leave it that again. You should still go to this restaurant just because they’re hit or miss doesn’t mean they won’t figure things out and be a great restaurant like they were in the past. Please try them out.

This place use to be good but it sucks now. You don’t get what you order. Waitress doesn’t come back with orders until asked to. Food isn’t that great anymore. At one point we waited for our food for 45 mins while watching others around us who came in after us get their food first. We had to ask for our food. I hate complaining because I’ve worked these kinds of jobs myself but we’ve given this place several chances and it gets worse each time. I do not recommend eating here. Go to Sonic there in Savannah instead they’re great.
