Hidden gem for sure! Excellent customer service and interesting artifacts for wall decor. Foodwise: the chips were hot and lightly salted. My friend just moved into the neighborhood. First time here, arrived later in the evening. Greeted with fun and festive decor. Lots of groups were dining and a smattering of tables of two. As soon as I went in I thought this looks like an old Chuy’s- and it was. We were seated right away, with drinks and chips arriving quickly. Queso followed with chunks of jalapenos and a nice after bite. I ordered the enchiladas, no sauce. I love that the kitchen came out to our waiter and to my table to confirm I did not want sauce and to offer me shredded or queso cheese instead. Such a nice touch. The manager came over to check on us several times and ultimately stood and chatted with us for a bit. It was clear she was dedicated to a high level of service and great guest experience. We got some history on the restaurant and the best days for specials. Overall excellent food, service, and experience. Definitely going back.

My early Friday lunch included chips and salsa and the enchilada trio served with rice and beans (I added the guac – yum!). Three was too much food for me but it was all good. Jesus greeted me at the bar and was engaging as he worked to prepare the bar area for the evening crowd. I loved that he greeted several patrons by name as they came it – very Cheers-esque… Also a nice place to sit at the bar and catch a game.

Ordered a BLT with ‘lil fries. BLT had onion slices mixed in with the lettuce. Did not want onions. And the fries were a disaster. The guy salting the fries put WAY TOO MUCH salt on them. He poured 2 huge passes of salt over the fries he just took out of the fryer. When I got home, I couldn’t even eat them. It was like eating salt sticks. Restaurant owners: slightly salt your food and taste it before you serve it. No one would have eaten these fries.

Unfortunately, we usually love coming out to this place. Great food! However, Karina S (server) definitely killed that for us. Initially, never came to the table and when she did, we had asked where chips and salsa were, she said, oh I didn’t know I was supposed to be bringing them to you guys. Really? Took order at our request, she never prompted. Never came to refill drinks or salsa when empty. Embarrassing service to say the least. I mean at least have the competence to respond when asked. Was gone for near 30 minutes before coming back to check on us. A friendly busser was kind enough to help us when kids in our party were anxious for refill of chips. Management here is pathetic for not taking care of this, will definitely not be coming back, it’s embarrassing! To say the least, that server… well shouldn’t be a server lol. Hopefully management will address. Me and a lot of colleagues will not be returning to this embarrassment in service. Unfortunate because the food is always great! Sad that a pathetic server is taking away from the cook’s great food.

Ever since the new owners service has been horrible and the food has changed too. Don’t even want to state my experience as a long term customer who also work in the service industry. What happened to all the good servers and FOH Staff. Since the Pandemic service has been poor in so many establishments. They have crossed the line the one more than one occasion.
