Usually I like this place but this last time I went I got carne asada fries with french fries that were obviously fried more then once. Every single fry could crumble like in my photo. No fry had any moisture at all. Places that cut corners like that for something as cheap as potatoes make me wonder what kind of corners they are cutting for ingredients more expensive.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had the asada nachos and pollo tacos with a pineapple drink and it was PERFECT. The meat is cooked and seasoned perfectly, the salsas are super fresh and flavorful, and the tortillas and chips were perfect. A great little place and the staff is super awesome.

Simple, delicious tacos in downtown San Diego. Inexpensive, double tortilla-wrapped ingredients meant I could sample a variety of different flavors. Don’t let the almost literal hole-in-the-wall feel fool you. Take out was prepared fresh and fast. Looking forward to going back.

This is a hidden gem! I know a lot of people go to El Gordo which is great as well, but the lines can be a bit much at times. I found Senor Taquero because of long lines at El Gordo and I am so happy I did! Owner was so nice, food was so hot and fresh. I ended up getting like 7 tacos, couldn’t stop eating them. Great pricing as well. Do yourself a favor and check this spot out, you will not be disappointed!

I went to this place specifically looking for tripe, but they didn’t have any. I ended up with tongue, which was well made (not a lot of seasoning, though). They were accommodating of dietary restrictions, which is impressive for a small establishment.
