Just went for the first time for Mother’s Day, and me and my family were impressed. The food and drinks were amazing, our waitress was kind. The only negative was that it was super hot in there. I don’t know if that’s normal or if the air was out.

Being from NYC, I am very picky with my Mexican food. But this restaurant has nailed it. From the drinks to the food and service. I sat and had a drink while I waited for my takeout. I left feeling nice and when I got home the food was amazingly good. I ordered the steak street tacos with rice and black beans, and chips with gauc.

The Decor is wonderful but the staff not so much. Rather weird for a Mexican restaurant. Most hispanic restaurants or people that I’ve met thru my life, have always been super sweet. This was definitely a very strange experience. ♀️ I think it’s because the manager is a jerk, which in turn rubs off on the waitresses as he is most likely mistreating them. I don’t know, but it definitely gives of a them a negative attitude. Most of the waitresses besides mine, of course were nice. My best friend and I ordered the beef soft tacos, and when we tried them eat they kind of tasted like dog food.. Neither of could eat the meat. All my friend ordered was 2 beef tacos , no sides, and she had to scrape the meat off to eat them. I took one bite and was like no thank you. I tried to send it back with the waitress and she gave me an attitude about it, acting like I was making it up. And she really gave me the vibe that sending back was like taking money out of her pocket. I literally took one bite dude, clearly I’m not trying to scam you. After we paid our check, I spoke to manager who was not very nice either and I then realized why she behaves that way at work. Definitely will not be back. The decor was fabulous and really interesting, but the yucky food and strange staff was a bit off putting and offensive. Hands down one of the weirdest restaurant experiences I had at 41, and I lived in Atlanta for 15yrs..

We moved nearby a year ago, and I usually come 1 – 2 times per week. Was average to good at the start, but the quality of the food and drinks has dropped though the floor in the past month or two. So has their business. As convenient as it is, I gotta go. Cold cheap food and lemonade margaritas. Yuk.

I’d give this place a 4/5 if it wasn’t for a sticky dirty menu, but besides that Senor Tequila was so good! The empanadas were great and different than your typical Empanada at a Mexican spot. I got the Rice Trio and it was spectacular! The service is a little iffy but it’s due to them only having one server, so be ready to be patient when you come in!

Food was pretty good. Service was nice, and they have a good menu of Margarita selections. It was a bit difficult to get some extra items like Salsa and sauces from the staff due to some language barriers, but they were very courteous and tried! Great prices, and waits are not long at all. It’s a nice lowkey spot and hidden gem.
