This was my first visit to Señor Tequila’s. I was so delighted by the beautiful artwork and colorful atmosphere. It’s a large place and accommodates a lot of parties. The staff was extremely friendly, we were checked on several times. The parking was easy as well as getting a table on a Saturday evening. Now for the food, I had the street tacos with goat meat. They were absolutely delicious. My party also enjoyed some large burritos. The chips and salsa always make the restaurant for me. And they were very good, fresh and flavorful. We had a side of guacamole and plantains. Which just added to us being overly full when we left. I would highly recommend. And I look forward to visiting again when I am back in Fairfax.

Pretty nice atmosphere with some of the friendliest staff I’ve met. However, the food was lacking. The paella has no crunch, no socarrat, just burnt food. Tasted like they flash burned it in a pan. The rice did not have much flavor. The other food was good though, especially the guac.

Today I ate at Senor Tequila in Fairfax. What an amazing restaurant with the authentic Mexican decor to the seats, the walls, the tabletop artistry, and overall ambiance really had me feeling I was in a nice tavern in Yucatan or Mexico City. I ordered the Poblanas Enchilada with a side of rice and black beans. The sauce poured over the wrapped in a tortilla, which was the most popular way to eat in the Aztec Empire pre-columbia days, was savory toasty and taste bud satisfing because you could taste the chocolate and the 50 peppers in the sauce. For dessert I had the Fried Ice Cream and that was delectably delicious and satisfying at all levels. Servers Paul and Yendry did a great job explaining the details of the meal and the history of the restaurant. They even took care of an issue at the end with a check and the Manager took care of everything. Overall a great experience at a wonderful restaurant in the heart of city of Fairfax.

The atmosphere was colorful gave me Día de los Muertos vibes. Our waitress was good, but the food was mid. The salsa was very tomato like pasta sauce and bland, tamales taste sour, steak taco salad was wet, The Molcajetes “Triple A AAA” was pretty good and enough for two people.

If you want stellar Mexican food, great drinks, great service and a fun festive atmosphere, look no further! This place is a hidden gem in Fairfax. The guacamole was so fresh and the chips, oooh the chips! Crunchy, salty, perfect. We got tacos that were on point. Definitely hit this place up in person or order online!!

Good atmosphere, helpful staff and great food. Prices are reasonable and the location is convinient. Cell service appears to be limited in the building, but that’s a benefit if you’re hoping to get kids off their phones for a family dinner!

we LOVE señor tequilas! the food, drinks, and atmosphere always make for a great evening (: love that the chips and salsa are complimentary, but a dinner at señor’s is not complete without the dip trio—my fav is the refried beans. the margs are a MUST—many flavor options, as well as the choice of either frozen or on the rocks. the staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food always comes out super fast! only giving 4 stars because as a pescatarian the options are kind of odd—the vegetarian quesadilla had carrots in it, which would be the last veggie i would expect in a quesadilla. i got the spinach enchiladas (pictured) and there was about 3 leaves of spinach in each enchilada (the rest was just cheese).

Amazing restaurant, great food, good parking, and you’ll never run out of things to look at while you eat. Every inch of the restaurant is decorated in paintings and artwork like I’ve never seen before. A treat for the taste buds and eyes. But not the wallet. This restaurant is pricy but worth it. Really wanna go drinking there one day but I can’t afford it.

I had the Macho Burrito, it seemed like they label it as a small challenge in the menu so I went for it – it cost $24 I believe.
