Love going to the tertulias here. Great service and atmosphere while practicing Spanish skills. Would recommend to come here with your friends for a dinner out to eat especially if you like Mexican food.

Our waiter was very friendly, but after waiting 45 minutes for our food, he shared that there had been “a mix up in the kitchen.” 15 minutes later, we finally received our food. It was lukewarm and overcooked. The waiter was very apologetic. As we were leaving, the owner asked how our meal was. When we shared that we had to wait an hour for our food, he threw his hands up and walked away. We won’t be back. The quality of Senor Tomas has definitely dwindled over the years.

This used to be one of our favorite places, however after today we’re done with it. Several of our last visits have not been great, staff seems annoyed we are even there. Today I tried to call and place a carry out order (something we did A LOT over Covid to try and help out a local business – even leaving very generous tips) but no one answered the phone. Thinking they are probably short staffed I decided to go there in person and place the take out order (I only needed two dinners). I was told I needed to call to place an order to which I replied I had tried but no one answered. So the server went to the manager and spoke with him about my situation and when he came back he simply told me they weren’t servicing take out today. The restaurant was not busy, 3 tables currently seated and eating while 5 or 6 staff sat at a booth rolling silverware. This is a place we have supported hard over the past several years so to be treated so badly the last several times going in is definitely unfortunate. Meanwhile on the walk back to my car another person came out with her carry out order…

Food was ok, service was terrible and then they give you a surprise “service charge” of 20% on the bill, we only had 2 people, and there’s also a tip area on the receipt! We will definitely not be back!

This place has really gone downhill with the lack of wait staff and almost all the drinks on the menu aren’t available. The service wasn’t good at all when we went early on a Saturday afternoon and the food was just blah. The only good thing was the chips & salsa!
