On the day we visited, the heating system was not working.The buffet was satisfactory. From what we were told, the “real cook” was not there and someone else was filling in for her I guess maybe we just chose the wrong day to try them out. As far as the heating situation I understand that was totally out of their control. I would suggest that they have more than one cook just in case. The food was decent, the fried chicken was very good, cabbage was not cooked to tender…hushpuppies were delicious! The staff and waitress were very friendly. The waitress was very attentive. In all fairness, we plan to visit again and hopefully the issues I mention will be addressed and we will have a better experience.

The food was amazing, so full of flavor and great variety. The chicken was amazing and the mac n cheese was just like my mom used to make. This is my go to when I’m in the area, and thank your stars if Miss Valerie treats you to some of her beautiful gospel singing. Bring your appetite cuz you gonna need it!

Hot food on the buffet that was surprisingly fresh at 3 PM in the afternoon. Meatballs, fried chicken, beans and baked chicken were cooked quite well and tasted great. The price was a little high for a Saturday lunch buffet, but not unreasonable.

I am not going back to this restaurant. The waitress missed out on getting a tip today because I felt ignored. She never asked me if I wanted a drink refill and I had to wait 2 minutes after getting my meal to get one in the first place. Also, I was getting carry out chicken for someone else and she never came out to bring me up for the purchase. One of the cooks did. So dissatisfied. My money is just as good as anyone else’s and I prefer to be treated that way.

Buffet-style restaurant. Somewhat dilapidated building. Food was decent–nothing to write home about. But what really stood out was the service. The hostess was very polite and hospitable, as was the manager running the register. But they definitely shouldn’t allow the cooks to interact with the diners.

The price was awesome, and the service was friendly. However, I was pretty disappointed. Went on a Saturday at 1pm and the buffet had pretty slim pickings. The food did not look very appetizing, or fresh. My husband got a small to go box. He said the food was just ok.

Was looking for a locally owned non-chain restaurant when passing through Warsaw. What a gem this place is! Buffet had “grandma’s Sunday dinner” favorites, each cooked to perfection, not greasy spoon fare… Southern cooking at its finest. Super clean and quality service.

I have been several times and always enjoy but little things there annoy me. Toddlers running around even in the kitchen…the kitchen door is left open and it is noisy…several light bulbs burned out which is a no no…the buffet being refilled from the front of the warmers blocking customers…no ice cream or whipped cream for the cobblers and cakes. I will still continue to go back because the staff is really nice and understand good cooking..and some nice jazzy background music would be nice instead of hearing pots and pans
