Holy cow. After reading the reviews at 4.9 stars on google I was ready to be disappointed after setting my expectations too high. Let me tell you how wrong I was. Yes there was a wait but that meant I got fresh food. The owner made a very friendly atmosphere and amazing food. I’ve never had gator or catfish before but I will for sure again! It was amazing. Gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets. My goodness delicious.

Laissez les bons temps rouler! The gentleman working the food truck is not only a very friendly and welcoming human being, he’s a master at his craft of producing Cajun/Louisiana inspired food. I enjoyed the special today ( I went with his gumbo, fried trout, and fried shrimp – pictured). Will definitely be back to try some more dishes. C’est toujours le bon moment for some Cajun food!

The food is seasoned perfectly… portions could be heavier for the price… maybe some sides? But overall the food is amazing.

I thought this food truck turned brick and mortar was awesome. I am not from the south but my wife is and she finally got some collard greens that are too die for. I went with the shrimp and grits and “OMG!!” they were awesome. I also had the 7 bite chicken and the misses had the 4 bite catfish.

I ordered the shrimp po boy meal ($13.75) and came with a side of either gumbo or jambalaya. Over price. Plain and simple. I won’t be getting my business anytime soon. I wasn’t impressed at all.

So my wife happened to find this place and decided she wanted to try it out. Let me tell you, it won’t be our last. We tried the Catfish and Ribs with the Jambalaya and cheese grits. When, I tell you it was good, it was GOOD! The catfish was the best I’ve tasted since I’ve been stationed here, as a matter of fact, EVER!. The sauce that was paired with it was phenomenal, I just wish there was a bit more of it. The cornbread was a unique flavor but it was really tasty too. The owner Jeff seems like a pretty cool down to earth guy. He conversed with us while we waited for our order. I will be revisiting this place again.

This place is amazing! The chef came out to welcome us as soon as we arrived & explained our options & specials for the evening. We ordered the fried catfish basket with potato salad & gumbo for sides & sweet iced tea for our drinks. It was freshly prepared & tasted great! I’m from the Deep South & this food reminded me of home. I will be returning for sure!

I really missed this style of food. I lived down south where good southern comfort food is everywhere. Ever since I moved back to the Pacific Northwest. I longed for some good southern cooking. With so much on the menu to try, My wife and I went for the sampler with cheesy grits, black-eyed peas, gumbo, Gator, sausage and a double order of catfish. The catfish was perfectly cooked the way fried fish is supposed to be, lightly coated and fried where it wasn’t greasy, crunchy, rubbery you can taste the freshness of the catfish the same for the gator very tender full flavored. The cheesy grits was awesome so full of flavor and love in every bite black eyed peas was great and totally delicious and the Gumbo was a meal in its self not too spicy or hot just perfectly well seasoned. It also Came with flattened like cornbread and beignets it feed a family of 3 with me over eating it could have feed 4. The price was very affordable and with my 4 year old having grilled cheese sandwich with fries and a coke it came to around $32.00 great deal! The waiter was friendly and the owner Jeff was very welcoming and friendly. This is a must try for those who miss and for those who never tried Cajun / southern style food. I’m looking forward to coming back. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well.

This place is a rip off. The food is a Cajun taste, but this guy is overcharging the service members for his product. Essentially I just paid $2.25 for French fries comparable in size to a kids meal. $11 for a fish gumbo 1/3 the size I could get at any normal Cajun restaurant as an entree.
