My boyfriend and I live in the area and came for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of parking around and we did not make a reservation for the restaurant. We were greeted and sat immediately. Be aware that this restaurant is small so make friends with your neighbors. After reviewing the menu, I ordered a roll with salmon and tempura inside. My boyfriend got a sashimi box with nigiri. We both enjoyed the freshness of the fish and the fast delivery. Overall, we had a great lunch and experience and will definitely be back again.

Although the food was basically good and the service was adequate, the overall experience was disappointing. I’m accustomed to eating sushi on the north side, Buford Highway specifically. I was excited when I saw a sushi restaurant in Fayetteville. I had to give it a try. Unfortunately, it does not compare. The portions are small. The meals are over priced. The photo below is a sashimi box ($22.95) from my favorite sushi bar on Buford Hwy., Kang Nam.

Finally got an opportunity to dine here with my wife for my birthday. The staff was very friendly and chef Alvin took great care of us. We sat at the sushi bar and asked chef Alvin to prepare anything he recommended. He did not disappoint! We will definitely be back! 5/5

My wife and I came here last night for date night. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was on point(forgot his name) and the food was really great. We ordered the portobello tacos(not pictured) and the 911 and tsunami roll. It was so delicious. The tacos really exceeded our expectations.

I’ve been to Sensu twice, both times with my family. I appreciate how the owner is present and actively working alongside with his employees to ensure that the food remains at top quality. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere too! I appreciate also how they offer the chopstick helpers for kids who need assistance with using chopsticks – it’s interactive and makes the experience more fun for kids!

The sensu roll was really good. Also, one of my daughters has a fish allergy and they were able to accommodate with a chicken teriyaki plate. I had a long day at work and wasn’t able to get there with my kids until 8:30. They still accommodated us and we’re very nice about it. Really appreciate their hospitality.

My family arrived at 7 on a week night without a reservation, and sat at the sushi bar for dinner. The sushi is high quality and well-constructed, with good flavor balance. The appetizers were good (edamame and shrimp tempura) were fresh and the miso soup was flavorful and filling. Our entrees were great, especially the curry/fried pork cutlet and salmon. The waitress was efficient and friendly, despite being busy. The only drawback is the noise level, since the restaurant is compact. Otherwise, couldn’t have been better.

It was packed. But the service was great. The food was perfect. The mushroom tocos were so good, I forgot it had no meat. The sushi was impeccably made it had so many flavors. Our drinks were absolutely worth every penny. It got a little loud but well worth the noise. Will be back very soon.
