This is true and beautiful hole-in-the-wall Korean grub in the old Ponderosa neighborhood of Santa Clara. Cash only if $20 or less! Come and enjoy the flavors. The complimentary barley tea is exceptional. Open till midnight Friday and Saturday!!

One of the original staples of Korean food. This place is known for beef bone soup. They added to their menus throughout the years. They provide three kinds of homemade kimchee with all their main dishes. A must try in the Bay Area.

Best Korean restaurant in Sunnyvale. Excellent customer service and friendly people. They will make you feel like you are sitting at a restaurant in South Korea. The best thing I like about this place is the menu has details and pictures. So if you remember what you had before, it’s easy to choose. It also makes it much easier to decide on what you want as the details are provided about each dish. As it was our first time, we had dol sot bibimbap and bulgogi fried rice. Even with that, they give us soup separately. I am going to try their soup-based food next time. Their kimchi is the real deal, and the food was yummy too. I am just sad that I didn’t go there earlier. They are also open pretty late, considering other places close early. We visited on a Friday, and they were open till midnight. Overall this is a place I will be going back to for sure.

Even a bowl of rice tasted flat and old. I went back for the first time in 6 years (the last time I was there I found a fly in my soup) and it hasn’t improved. Super over priced. Paid mini portion of dried Galbi for $47. Will never go back. Not recommended to any K food lovers. avoid.

Really awesome food here I tried the chadolbagi & sukio gamtang both of which are amazing! The soup and the meats are very fresh and they have a good amount of seasoning of salts, peppers and 9ther spices to help you get it to the right flavors you want in your soup!

Just like a 3-start food. There is too much sugar in food and very pricey for quality of food. We eat Kalbitang, Naengmyung, and gowtang. Not recommend for Korean.

Fantastic authentic Korean soups – season to your liking and dig in! Lots of choices, though it does run a little on the expensive side. I had the gom tang with tendon, tripe, small intestine and beef and was very pleased! I’ll be back for sure.
